Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi’ni 2003 yılında bitirdi. Yüksek Lisansını Marmara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Kelâm Bilim Dalında yaptığı “Reenkarnasyonla İlişkilendirilen Ayetlerin Değerlendirilmesi” isimli tezle tamamladı (2005). Bir süre Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nda Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi dersi öğretmenliği yaptıktan sonra 2012 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Kelam Anabilim Dalına öğretim görevlisi olarak atandı. Aynı yıl "Klasik Dönem Kelâm Atomculuğunun Günümüz Kozmolojisi Açısından Değerlendirilmesi" isimli tezini başarıyla savunarak Doktor ünvanı aldı. İlk post doktora araştırmasını TÜBİTAK Yurt Dışı Doktora Sonrası Araştırma Burs Programı kapsamında Kanada, McGill Üniversitesi Institute of Islamic Studies’de “Criticisims of Atomism in Classical Islamic Thought” isimli çalışmasıyla gerçekleştirdi (2014). İkinci post doktora araştırmasını ise Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’ndeki Syracuse Üniversitesinde “The Kalam Cosmological Arguments and Kant’s Antinomies of Reason: A Critical Assessment” adlı çalışmayla yaptı (2019). 2017 yılında doçent, 2023 yılında Profesör oldu.
Şaban Ali Düzgün is a faculty member at the Department of Theology, Faculty of Theology, Ankara University. His master's thesis is titled “The Modernism of Seyyit Ahmet Han,” and his doctoral thesis is titled “The Relationship Between God and the Universe in Nesefî and Islamic Philosophers.” He conducted research related to his thesis at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, London). He has taught at Georgetown University and Birmingham Southern College (with Fulbright) in the United States, Gregorian University in Rome, and Ahmet Yesevi Turkish-Kazakh University (Kazakhstan) in different years. He gave conferences and seminars at NATO for five years. He taught courses on Political Theories in Islamic Thought and Islam and Peace at TOBB ETÜ Department of Political Science and International Relations; TODAİ; and ASBÜ Department of Political Science and Public Administration. Master's and doctoral studies have been conducted on his work both domestically and internationally: Taranah Wilkinson, Dialectical Encounters: Turkish Muslim Thought in Dialogue, Doctoral Thesis; Ana Glench, Social Theology, University of Fribourg, Switzerland, Doctoral Thesis; Seda Baykal, Social Scientific Study of Islam at Ankara University School of Divinity, Bilkent University, Master's Thesis; Seda Birçek, Şaban Ali Düzgün's Approach to Kalami Problems and His Contribution to Kalami Studies in Turkey, Master's Thesis, etc. Some of his books are: Social Theology, God, Nature, and History; The Agony of Existence; Man at the Foot of the Steep Slope; The Thought World of Mâtürîdî; Religion and Religious People in the Contemporary World; Return to Before Adam; God's Beloved Human; Tools for the Discovery of Enlightenment; Truth, Movement, and Construction; Truths Without Identity; Religion for the 21st Century. He is the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Kalām Studies (KADER). The author is fluent in English, Arabic, and German.
1993 yılında Antalya’da dünyaya geldi. 2016 yılında Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesinden (2011-2016) ve Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Felsefe Bölümünden (ÇAP) (2014-2016) mezun oldu. 2019 yılında Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Temel İslam Bilimleri Anabilim Dalı Yüksek Lisans Programını “Mu‘tezilî Tenzih Doktrininin Temelleri” isimli tezle (2016-2019) tamamladı. Aynı yıl başladığı Marmara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Temel İslam Bilimleri Anabilim Dalı Kelam Bilim Dalı Doktora Programında (2019-) eğitimine devam etmektedir. Yine 2019 yılında başladığı İstanbul Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Eskiçağ Dilleri ve Kültürleri Bölümü Eski Yunan Dili ve Edebiyatı Programından (2019-2023) 2023 yılında mezun oldu. 2017 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi İslami İlimler Fakültesinde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başlamış, 2019 yılında doktora eğitimi için Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesine görevlendirilmiştir ve hala burada görevini sürdürmektedir.

She graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Theology in 2011. She then completed his master's degree in 2014 at Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Kalam, with a thesis entitled The Theory of Knowledge in Imām al-Ḥaramayn al-Juwaynī. She is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the same institute with a thesis titled The Accidents of Kawn in Early Kalām Theology.

1983 yılında Trabzon/Sürmene’de doğdu. İlkokul, ortaokul ve liseyi Samsun’da okudu. 2002 yılında girdiği KTÜ Rize İlahiyat Fakültesi’nde bir dönem öğrenim gördükten sonra OMÜ İlahiyat Fakültesi’ne geçiş yaptı. 2006 yılında buradan mezun oldu. 2007 yılında OMÜ Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’ne bağlı olarak Kelam Anabilim Dalı’nda Yüksek Lisans programına başladı. Hazırladığı “Kur’an-ı Kerim’e Göre Husün Kubuh Problemi” adlı tez çalışmasıyla 2010 yılında Yüksek Lisans mezunu oldu. Aynı yıl, aynı enstitüde doktora programına başladı. Doktora programı kapsamında “Bir Kelam Problemi Olarak Nübüvvet -Bâkıllânî ve Kâdî Abdülcebbâr Örneği- başlıklı tez çalışması ile Doktor unvanını aldı. Akademik kariyere dair bu kazanımların yanında 2006-2011 yılları arasında Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’na bağlı olarak Trabzon ve Samsun’da imam-hatiplik görevinde bulundu. 2011 yılında Şırnak Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Kelam Anabilim Dalı’na Araştırma Görevlisi olarak atandı. İki yılı aşkın bir süre bu görevi yürüttükten sonra 2014 yılında Sinop Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Kelam Anabilim Dalı’nda Yardımcı Doçentlik kadrosuna atandı. 2023 yılında Samsun Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Kelam Anabilim Dalı’nda Doçentlik kadrosuna atandı. Halen bu görevini sürdüren yazar, Arapça ve İngilizce bilmekte olup, evli ve üç çocuk babasıdır.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Basil Altaie is a Physicist and Philosopher, obtained his Ph.D from the university of Leeds (UK) in 1978. He worked in Iraq and Jordan universities and now is Emeritus Professor at the University of Leeds (UK).
Born on June 22, 1978, in Sivas, Mustafa Selim Yılmaz graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Divinity in 2001. In the same year, he began his master's degree at the Department of Islamic Theology at the Institute of Social Sciences at Ankara University and completed his dissertation titled “The Relationship Between Religion and Politics in the Works of Muhammad Abid al-Jabiri” in 2005. Yılmaz then began his PhD studies at the same educational institution and completed his dissertation titled “Evaluation of the Qumran Manuscripts within the Framework of the Covenant Tradition” in 2011. Yılmaz served in various positions at the Presidency of Religious Affairs between 2003 and 2012. In January 2012, he was appointed as an assistant professor in the field of Kalām at the Faculty of Theology at Karabük University, and in 2019, he was promoted to associate professor. He currently serves as Counsellor for Religious and Social Affairs at the Turkish Embassy in Ottawa.
Shoaib Ahmed Malik is Lecturer in Science and Religion at the University of Edinburgh. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and another in Theology from the University of St Mary’s, Twickenham, Shoaib stands at the crossroads of Science and Religion. His monograph work, Islam and Evolution: Al-Ghazālī and the Modern Evolutionary Paradigm, was acclaimed as the foremost academic contribution to the field of science and religion, receiving recognition from the International Society for Science and Religion (ISSR) in 2022. He is working to develop the infrastructure for the field of Islam and Science.
