Dear Academics and Researchers,

KADER Journal invites you to contribute to a special issue that aims to examine the relationship between religion and science from an interdisciplinary perspective. This special issue seeks to include studies that analyze the interaction between religion and science from historical, philosophical, sociological, theological, and scientific perspectives, with the aim of deepening the dialogue between these two fields.

Throughout human history, religion and science have been two significant domains that have shaped each other—at times conflicting, at times existing in harmony. This special issue aims to bring together researchers who wish to explore different dimensions of this relationship, contribute to current debates, and present perspectives for the future.

• The Relationship Between Religion and Science from a Historical Perspective: Interactions, conflicts, and collaborations between religion and science throughout history.

• Religion and Science from a Philosophical Perspective: Theoretical foundations of the religion-science relationship in the context of the philosophy of science and philosophy of religion.

• Theology and Scientific Discoveries: The effects of scientific advancements on religious beliefs and theological interpretations.

• Evolutionary Theory and Religious Reactions: How evolutionary theory has been perceived in religious circles and related debates.

• Artificial Intelligence and Ethical Issues: The relationship between artificial intelligence and technological developments with religious and ethical values.

• Cosmology and Religion: The origin of the universe, the Big Bang theory, and religious approaches to cosmology.

• Scientific Method and Religious Epistemology: How religious knowledge and belief systems can be associated with scientific methodologies.

• The Future of Religion and Science: The potential effects of technological and scientific advancements on religions in the future and the future of the religion-science relationship.

• Kalām and the Relationship Between Religion and Science: Studies that address all issues related to the religion-science relationship within the framework of the discipline of kalām.

Note: These topics are only suggestions. Studies that examine the relationship between religion and science, including kalām and science, beyond these suggested topics will also be considered for evaluation.

• Articles must present original research findings and should not have been previously published.
