He completed his doctorate in Ankara University, Department of Religious Psychology in 2020. His doctoral thesis is on determining the spiritual needs of elderly people in nursing homes and evaluating the effectiveness of spiritual care on hope, psychological well-being and perception of God. His topics of interest are: spiritual needs, perception, gerontology, institutional silence, professional burnout, suicide, metaphor, social learning, spiritual care, love, religiosity, hope, prayer.
Onook Oh is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of Colorado Denver. His past research investigated rumor theory, social movement, and crisis management. He is currently conducting research on platform labor, social inequality, and eco-friendly information systems research. Recently, he completed a project on the use of body-worn camera in US police departments funded by the US National Science Foundation. His research has been published in MIS Quarterly and Information Systems Research, Policing and Society, and others.
