Nurşen Adak is a professor of sociology and head of the Division of Women’s and Gender Studies at Akdeniz University. Her research focuses on gender, family, and violence against women. She has published widely, led numerous projects, and collaborates with NGOs to promote gender equality and women’s rights in both academic and social spheres.
