Journal Ethics Principles and Responsibilities
In addition to the review process of scientific papers submitted to the journal, the ethical principles and sanctions of the journal are also of great importance. It is required that all contributors adhere to these ethical guidelines. The journal expects authors, reviewers, and editors to comply with the following ethical standards:

Responsibilities of Authors:
Submitted works must be original and unpublished.
All contributors must be listed as authors, and individuals who did not contribute to the study should not be included in the author list.
Any conflict of interest or financial support for the research must be clearly disclosed.

Responsibilities of Reviewers:
Reviewers must evaluate the work impartially and confidentially.
In the event of any conflict of interest during the review process, the reviewer should decline the review and inform the editor.
Reviewers should provide constructive and scientifically based feedback on the study.

Responsibilities of Editors:
Editors must review submitted manuscripts fairly and impartially.
If there is any conflict of interest regarding a manuscript, this should be clearly disclosed, and the manuscript should be forwarded to a relevant editor.
Editors should consider reviewers' reports and make decisions on the publication of the manuscript based on scientific criteria.

Ethical Violations and Sanctions:
In cases of ethical violations such as plagiarism, fabrication, manipulation, or fake peer reviews, the manuscript will be withdrawn, and the relevant institutions will be notified.
New submissions from authors who violate publishing ethics will not be considered for review, and necessary legal actions will be taken against them.
These ethical guidelines are adopted to maintain the journal's scientific integrity and academic contributions.

In the event that a violation of publication ethics is identified, an email should be sent to sporbilimleridergisi@mehmetakif.edu.tr. The reported violation will be reviewed by the journal's management, and necessary actions will be taken accordingly.

Journal Publication Principles

• Submitted manuscripts must be scientific and original.
  
• Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with internationally recognised scientific ethical rules.
• Manuscripts submitted for publication must not have been previously published anywhere else or submitted to another journal.
• The journal publishes articles twice a year, in June and December. Articles that do not reach the publication date can be published by adding to the previous issue.
• Author names, institutions and e-mail information should be clearly written in the appropriate field of the manuscript.
• The submission and acceptance dates of the published articles are indicated at the bottom of the first page of the article.
• Each published research data should be kept by the researcher for five years. Data and analysis programmes may be requested from authors when necessary.
• A report made by Turnitin or iThenticate, which does not exceed 20% plagiarism, should also be submitted with the manuscript submission.
• Manuscripts are reviewed by double blind peer review.
• All procedures after manuscript submission should be followed by the authors on the journal website.
• All corrections and changes related to the article will be made through the journal website.
• The period given to the authors for the requested corrections and changes is 1 month. If they are not made within the specified period, the manuscript will be automatically rejected.
• Research studies submitted to the journal must fully comply with international research ethics guidelines, including human experimentation.
• Authors should clearly declare any financial or other conflicts of interest.
