I am a faculty member at Atatürk University, Faculty of Education. My academic work and primary research interests focus on intellectual disability education, teacher preparation in special education, and special education policies. Accordingly, I specialize in the historical development of special education policies and the systematic improvement of inclusive education practices. My research aims to develop evidence-based methods and strategic policies to address the needs of diverse learner groups within educational environments.

In my work, I analyze the historical evolution of special education policies within national and international contexts, examining their implications for equity and accessibility in education. Specifically, I focus on the integration of inclusive education approaches into teacher preparation curricula and the strengthening of educators' pedagogical competencies in supporting students with diverse developmental profiles.

The primary objective of my academic activities is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, contributing to the development of functional and sustainable solutions for the implementation of education policies in the field.
