Mediterranean Journal of Humanities (MJH) is a peer-reviewed journal published electronically that adheres to the principle of open access. All content published in MJH is made directly available as open access. The journal aims to contribute to the support and development of science by promoting Open Access policies through its publications.

Copyright Statement

Authors who publish their work in MJH are deemed to have accepted the following conditions:

• MJH publishes only original works; manuscripts that have been previously published or are under review by another journal are not accepted.
  
• All articles and visual materials published in MJH are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license.
• The Open Access policy of the journal is fully aligned with the principles set out in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) (https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/read/)

Under this license, published content:

• May be freely shared, copied, and reproduced, provided proper attribution is given.
  
• May be adapted and derivative works may be created, provided such derivative works are distributed under the same license terms.
  
• May not be used for commercial purposes under any circumstances.
• MJH retains the publication rights of the published content. This right is secured through the Copyright Transfer Agreement Form signed by the author(s).

All authors acknowledge that the copyright belongs to MJH, Open Access Policy and CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license conditions when their articles are published after passing the editorial and peer-review process.

Archiving Policy:

• All articles published online in MJH are freely and permanently accessible via the DergiPark system.
  
• The journal content is also digitally archived and preserved through the LOCKSS system.
