The Art-Design Journal, which we had been publishing at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts for 13 years (2010-2023), continues its publication life under the name MUJAD (Marmara University Journal of Art and Design).

MUJAD is a reer-reviewed journal which publishes articles according to scientific rules in the field of art and design.Articles undergo a double-blind peer review process following an initial evaluation by the Editorial Board.

It is published twice a year, in June and December. The publication language is Turkish and English. 

Our journal accepts articles between March 15 and April 15 and September 15 and October 15.

Our journal, which is indexed in SOBIAD and EBSCO, is currently undergoing the TR Dizin control process.

• Marmara University Journal of Art and Design publishes research articles and review articles in the fields of art and design. When determining the type of article submitted to our journal, the following distinction should be taken into account:

A research article is a work in which the author shares the findings and results of their own original research, along with the research method. In research articles, Methodology, Findings, and Discussion are mandatory headings. A review article is a type of article in which the author examines and evaluates the existing literature, conducts a discussion by making comparisons, identifies missing aspects, and/or provides a synthesis. In review articles, Methodology, Findings, and Discussion headings are not mandatory.

Articles submitted without considering writing rules, templates, and the distinction between article types will be returned without entering the editorial process.

• Translated articles, book reviews and interviews that are not subject to peer review should be approved by contacting the Editorial Board of our journal before submission.

• Marmara University Journal of Art and Design is funded by Marmara University.

• Marmara University Journal of Art and Design is published on the DergiPark platform, open access, free of charge, and only in electronic format.

Journal History
As of 2023, the name of the journal has changed to "Marmara University Journal of Art and Design".
