The Journal of Ottoman Civilization Studies Inter-University Council [ÜAK] Associate Professor Criteria Frequently Asked Questions By Article 20, fees are charged during the publication process. The journal uses paid services for preliminary evaluation, editorial review, language checking, secretarial services, spelling and punctuation checks, layout checks, graphic design, and participation in international indexes; therefore, fees are charged regardless of whether the article is accepted or rejected. A payment receipt must be submitted for the review process to begin. Submission fees paid by authors whose submissions are rejected by the reviewers cannot be refunded.

Note 1: Do not deposit the fee until you receive an e-mail from the journal secretariat or publisher. For articles whose preliminary review is complete, the journal secretariat or publisher will be informed separately of the fee.
