Nülüfer Erbil graduated from Florence Nightingale Nursing School of Istanbul University, in Istanbul, Türkiye in 1989. She completed her M.Sc., Obstetrics and Gynecologic Nursing at Istanbul University. She worked as nurse and director of nursing at Gynecologic and Obstetrics Clinic of Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, in Türkiye until 1995. She completed her PhD, Obstetrics and Gynecologic Nursing Department at Atatürk University in Erzurum, Türkiye, in 2005. She worked as lecturer from 1995 to 2007. She was promoted to assistant professor in 2007, associate professor in 2012 and professor (full) in 2017, Ordu University, Ordu province, in Türkiye. Nülüfer Erbil worked as Director of Institute of Health Sciences until 2018. Nülüfer Erbil was Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences of Ordu University between  2018 and 2025. She is head of obstetrics and gynecologic nursing department, in Faculty of Health Sciences of Ordu University. Subjects of her interest are woman health, reproductive health, sexuality, methodological studies and nursing professionalism.

Prof. Dr. Ayla Gürsoy graduated from Ege University School of Nursing in 1989. She completed her postgraduate education at Hacettepe University, Institute of Health Sciences, in the Department of Surgical Nursing. After working for two years as an operating room nurse following her undergraduate graduation, Gürsoy served as a faculty member at Karadeniz Technical University for 28 years. She retired in 2017 and between 2017 and 2020, she served as the Head of the Nursing Department at the School of Health Sciences, International Cyprus University. She is currently working at Antalya Bilim University as the Chair of the Department of Nursing in the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Vice Rector. Gürsoy’s professional field is surgical nursing, and she conducts studies particularly in the areas of breast cancer nursing and perioperative nursing.
