1978 yılında Konya'da doğdum. İlkokul öğrenimimi Meram Şükrü Doruk İlkokulunda, orta ve lise öğrenimimi Konya Meram Anadolu Lisesinde tamamladım. 2002 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarım Makineleri Bölümünden mezun oldum. Yüksek Lisans eğitimimi Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Tarım Makineleri Ana Bilim Dalında tamamladım. Doktora ünvanımı aynı Ana bilim dalında 2010 yılında aldım. 2018 yılında Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak atandım. 2019 yılında ise doçentlik ünvanımı aldım.  

Tarım makineleri, Tarım işletmeciliği ve Tarımda ve enerji kullanımları hakkında çalışmalar yürütmektedir.

1997 yılında kazandığım Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bölümünden, ilk yıl İngilizce hazırlık sınıfı olmak üzere 2002 yılında mezun oldum. Öğrenciliğim sürecinde, 3. sınıftan itibaren Philip Morris Sabancı bursunu aldım, ayrıca Ege Üniversitesinin Uluslararası Teknik Stajyer Öğrenci Mübadelesi Birliği (International Association for the Exchange of the Students for Technical Experience=IAESTE) işbirliği çerçevesinde Alman Akademik Değişim Servisi (DAAD) tarafından verilen bursu kazanarak, Institut für Phytopathologie und Angewandte Zoologie (IPAZ) Almanya'da Ağustos-Ekim 2001 tarihlerinde stajımı tamamladım.  Lisans mezuniyetimle birlikte E.Ü. FBE Bitki Koruma ABD.'nda yükseklisansa başladım. Yine bu süreçte de PhilipMorris SABANCI yüksek lisans bursunu almaya hak kazandım. 10 Şubat 1979’da Adana’da doğdu. İlkokuldan üniversiteye kadar eğitim hayatını Adana’da tamamlayan İpek, 1998-2002 yılları arasında Çukurova Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. Yüksek lisans eğitimini 2006-2009 yılları arasında, doktora eğitimini ise 2009-2015 yılları arasında Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü’nde tamamladı.

Kariyerine 2005 yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi’nde Meyve Yetiştirme Islahı Ana Bilim Dalı’nda Araştırma Görevlisi olarak başladı. 2019’da Doçent unvanını aldı ve halen aynı bölümde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır.

Uzmanlık alanları arasında meyve yetiştiriciliği ve ıslahı, bitki fizyolojisi ve bitki doku kültürleri yer almaktadır.

I was born in 1989 in Köyceğiz district of Muğla province. I completed my primary school education at Dalyan Naciye Tinaztepe primary school in 2003 and my high school education at Ortaca High School in 2006. I received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Turkey in 2010. I completed my Master’s in the same department in 2014. The focus of my Master’s thesis was sprayers. I assigned as a research assistant at Selcuk University in Turkey since 2013. My professional research area and PhD thesis consist of precision planters, specifically planter performance uses for vegetable seeds. In 2014, I completed my master's degree with a thesis in the field of spraying machines and then started my PhD education at Selçuk University, Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering and completed my doctoral thesis on precision planting machines in 2021. After completing my doctorate program I have joined FarmsLab research team in 2023, I pursued my post-doctoral research on technological developments and sensor integration in planter systems at K-State University in Kansas, United States, within the scope of TÜBİTAK BİDEB-2219 programme. Afterwards I continue my academic career at Selçuk University as Assistant Professor in 2024.
I am also married and have one child.

I completed my Ph.D. in Food Engineering at Selçuk University in 2019, specializing in Food Microbiology. My research interests focus on lactic acid bacteria, probiotics, fermented foods, and microbial composition. I am currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Food Engineering at Selçuk University.

Dr. Om Prakash Gupta, Senior Scientist (Plant Biochemistry), ICAR–IIWBR, Karnal, holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry from ICAR–IARI, New Delhi. With over 14 years of research experience, he has made impactful contributions to cereal biochemistry, spanning variety development, quality assessment, molecular biology, and food science.
His significant achievements include the development of two wheat (DBW252 & DWBH221) & two barley varieties (DWRB219 & DWRB223) recommended for diverse agro-climatic zones of countries. He has developed 13 novel genetic stocks encompassing critical quality traits. Dr. Gupta has standardized in vitro methodologies for assessing glycemic index and bioavailability of Fe & Zn in wheat-based food matrices. At the molecular level, he identified 27 TaHSP20 & 13 HvHSP20 genes, characterized 16 heat-responsive proteins, and discovered five novel wheat miRNAs, validated eight miRNAs under different abiotic conditions, identified 28 genes involved in micronutrient (Fe-Zn) homeostasis, demonstrated the influence of cytosine methylation on IFS gene expression. In addition, Dr. Gupta developed a composite wheat quality index for rapid genotype screening, novel colorimetric assay for PLA₂, formulated eight nutritionally enriched foxtail millet-based food products, and assessed the impact of processing variables on resistant starch and glycemic response in wheat-based diets.
Dr. Gupta has an impressive publication record comprising over 150 publications, including 70 peer-reviewed research and review papers, 14 books, 38 book chapters, 48 ​​popular articles, and 3 technical manuals.
In recognition of his scientific excellence, Dr. Gupta has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Jawaharlal Nehru Award, Krishi Vigyan Gaurav Award, Chaudhary Charan Singh Memorial Award, and several gold and silver medals. He is a Fellow of the SAWBAR, a member of the American Chemical Society, & International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS), Japan. He has also received multiple best oral and poster presentation awards.

Professor Dr. Md. Arifuzzaman born on September 19, 1980 in Rangpur, Bangladesh. He graduated (B.Sc.Ag.(Hons)) from the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh in 2002. He did his MS in Genetics and Plant Breeding from the same University. Afterwards, he joined as a Lecturer in Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University, Dinajpur, Bangladesh. In 2015, he got his PhD degree from the University of Bonn, Germany. In 2018, he did Post-doc from the University of Sydney, Australia. His current position is Professor in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur-5200, Bangladesh since 2018. Professor Arifuzzaman is actively engaged in genetic factors associated with abiotic and biotic stress research in cereal crops. Excellent collaborations with industries and universities nationally and internationally and grants success. Skilled in managing research projects and experienced in leading research group, student supervision & mentoring. 

Dr. Noel is a soil scientist specializing in soil health, carbon cycling, and regenerative agriculture. He earned his B.Sc. in Soil and Water Management in 2015 from the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, and his M.Sc. in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition in 2019 from Selçuk University, Turkey. In 2025, he completed his Ph.D. in Soil, Water, and Ecosystem Sciences at the University of Florida, USA.
Currently, Dr. Noel is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison,  USA, where his work focuses on advancing sustainable and regenerative management of both agricultural and forest soils.

Dr. Łukasz Gierz, DSc, Eng., a university professor, was born on July 22, 1983, in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Greater Poland Voivodeship, and currently lives in Czołowo, a small town near Kórnik. In 2003, he graduated from the agricultural technical school at the Upper Secondary School Complex of the Center for Continuing Education in Przygodzice, receiving a four-year scholarship from the Prime Minister. He graduated with a degree in agricultural engineering, but had already developed an interest in agricultural machinery, so he decided to additionally take physics in his secondary school leaving exams to be eligible for technical universities. That same year, he passed his secondary school leaving exams and began a long-cycle master's degree program at the Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Construction Machines and Transport, majoring in Mechanics and Machine Design. He graduated with distinction in 2008 with a Master of Science (MSc) degree (MSc thesis title: "Design of a forklift attachment for a high-power tractor"). In 2008, he began part-time third-cycle studies at the Faculty of Construction Machinery and Transport, while simultaneously working professionally in industry. However, his scientific interests led him to begin full-time doctoral studies on October 1, 2010. In 2011, he completed postgraduate studies in "Educational Preparation for Teaching General and Technical-Vocational Subjects" at the Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Management Engineering, Department of Entrepreneurship and Business Communication. In 2013, he earned his doctorate based on his dissertation, "Modeling and Research on Grain Movement in the Seed Ducts of Pneumatic Seeders," under the supervision of Dr. DSc, Eng. Włodzimierz Kęska, a professor at the university. The same year, he was hired as a research assistant. In 2015, he completed further postgraduate studies in "Research and Development Project Manager" at the Poznan School of Banking and was hired as an assistant professor. In search of a qualification to teach subjects related to machinery certification and safety, he completed his third postgraduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety at the Pozna University of Logistics in 2018. In 2023, he obtained his habilitation in Mechanical Engineering. His publications and patents on technical designs form a thematically related series of works constituting his scientific achievement, defined as: "Synthesis of parameters of granular material movement monitoring and control systems in machine sowing in terms of seed sowing quality." He has also taught classes and participated in international training courses in countries including Kazakhstan, Italy, Greece, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. As part of his research, Dr. DSc, Eng., Łukasz Gierz, a professor at the university, is involved in the design and construction of machinery, particularly agricultural machinery. His work in this field has been published in high impact journals, including Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, Plymery, Polymers, Czech Journal of Food Sciences, Sensors, Applied Computer Science, Materials, Applied Sciences, Journal of Ecological Engineering, Agriculture, Agronomy, Journal of Engineering, and Sustainability Advances in Science and Technology Research Journal. To date, he has published more than 40 chapters in scientific monographs and 89 articles, including 46 with an impact factor. He currently has an h-index of 11 (source: Scopus, without self-citations).

DSc, Eng. Łukasz Gierz, a professor at the university, is also the co-author of 21 patents that have received awards at industry or innovation fairs in Brussels, Germany, Taiwan, and Poland. He has participated in 39 international conferences, including those in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Latvia, China, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, at the invitation of the organizers (after obtaining a doctorate in technical sciences). He collaborates closely with Karaganda Technical University in Kazakhstan, the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, the Faculty of Engineering and the Institute of BioEconomy, National Research Council of Italy in Florence. He has received numerous diplomas, awards, and medals for his innovative solutions in agricultural machinery, including: diploma of the Minister of Science and Higher Education and the Minister of Education and Science, a special award at the International Trade Fair "Ideas - Inventions - New Products iENA - 2021, 4 medals (2 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze). For his scientific achievements, he received the Polish Intelligent Development Award in the category: Scientist of the Future and 3 awards from the Rector of the Poznan University of Technology.
