Author Guidelines

WRITING RULES

1-Articles submitted for publication should be between 5,000 and 10,000 words in length. Similarly, articles containing Tahkîk or Çeviri Yazı should contain at least 5,000 words of Dirase/Değerlendirme. Articles exceeding 10,000 words may be accepted at the discretion of the editor.
2-Articles must include a 150-350-word Turkish/English Abstract and 5-8 Turkish/English Keywords.
3-Book Reviews must include a 100-200 word Turkish/English Abstract and 3-5 Turkish/English Keywords.
4-Book Reviews must be prepared and submitted in accordance with our journal's accepted writing guidelines. See example https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/download/article-file/377527 
5-Article titles should begin with a capital letter, be in Times New Roman font size 12, and be bold. In addition, the English title should be written above the “Abstract” section.
6-Manuscripts should be written in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman font, 12-point size, and 1.5 line spacing, and submitted as a .doc or .docx file.
7-Footnotes should be in Times New Roman font, 10-point size.
8-Quotations longer than four lines should be indented two spaces to the right of the normal paragraph line, without quotation marks, with 1.15 line spacing, in Times New Roman font size 11. If the quotation is less than four lines, it should be enclosed in double quotation marks in the text.
9-Information such as the author's title, name, institution, ORCID number, ROD ID number, and email address should not be included below the title of the article. If the article is derived from academic work (Master's, Doctorate, Associate Professor, or Scientific Meetings), this must be clearly stated.
10-At the end of the article, before the references, the researchers' contribution statement, any support and acknowledgment statements, and conflict of interest statements must be indicated in accordance with the table below.
11- Our journal uses the Isnad Citation System. Submissions to our journal must be compatible with the Isnad Citation System.

Ethics Committee Approval
Our journal requires that all studies in scientific fields that require ethics committee approval have obtained the relevant ethics committee decision. In this context, information regarding ethics committee approval (committee name, date, and decision number) must be clearly stated in the article text.
In line with the regulations implemented by Ulakbim TR Index since 2020, studies without ethical committee approval are not considered for publication in our journal.
Studies Requiring Ethical Committee Approval
Studies requiring ethical committee approval in our journal include the following:
• All research conducted using qualitative or quantitative approaches that involve collecting data from participants through methods such as surveys, interviews, focus group studies, observations, experiments, and interviews,
• Studies in which humans and animals (including materials or data) are used for experimental or other scientific purposes,
• Clinical research conducted on humans,
• Scientific research conducted on animals,
• Retrospective studies within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law.
For such studies to be considered for evaluation, the relevant ethical committee approvals must have been obtained and these approvals must be clearly stated in the article text.

Use of Artificial Intelligence
If artificial intelligence-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, etc.) were used in the article production process, the stages in which they were used must be clearly stated. This information must be provided during the article submission process. All responsibility for the use of artificial intelligence lies with the authors.

The following commitment is obtained from the author electronically during submission:
1. I am authorized to submit this work to your journal/I have been authorized by the co-authors.
2. The article is original, has not been officially published in another peer-reviewed journal, has not been submitted to another journal for review, and does not infringe on any existing copyrights or other third-party rights.
3. I/we agree that if the article is accepted for publication, it will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
4. The copyright and intellectual property rights of the author(s) or, if applicable, the author(s)' employer(s) are reserved. The author(s) undertake(s) that the publisher shall have no liability whatsoever in the event of any claims or lawsuits brought by third parties for copyright infringement, and that all liability shall rest with the author(s).
5. The author(s) warrant(s) that the article does not contain any criminal elements or unlawful statements, and that no unlawful materials or methods were used during the research.
