Open Access Policy
All research articles published in tarihyazımı are entirely open access, allowing immediate free access for reading, downloading, and sharing. These articles are disseminated under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, which authorizes use, distribution, and reproduction in any format, provided that proper attribution to the original work is maintained.
In accordance with the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing the publication policy of the tarihyazımı journal meets the following conditions:
1- The author(s) grant to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access and license to copy, use, distribute, transmit, and publicly display the work and to make and distribute derivative works in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to appropriate attribution of authorship, as well as the right to make a small number of hard copies for their personal use.
2- A full version of the work and all supplementary materials, including a copy of the aforementioned permission, in an appropriate standard electronic format, are deposited immediately upon first publication in at least one online repository (in our case Dergipark platform) supported by an academic institution, scientific society, government agency, or other well-established organization that aims to provide open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving.

Ethical Committee Approval

With the decision of ULAKBİM on February 25th, 2020, there is a condition that "All the disciplines of science (including social sciences), there should be an Ethical Committee Approval for research involving human and animal (clinical and experimental) separately and this approval must be mentioned in the article and it should be documented". The research conducted by quantitative or qualitative approaches which require data collection such as questionnaire, interview, observation, focus group study, the experiment is regarded under the aforementioned content.
