DSc, Prof. Said Gulyamov is the Head of the Department of Cyber Law at Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL), Uzbekistan. Born in 1976, he has over 25 years of experience in academia and legal practice. Prof. Gulyamov holds degrees from Tashkent State Economic University, Edinburgh Napier University (UK), and TSUL. He obtained his Doctor of Science in Law in 2006 and became a Professor in 2008.
Prof. Gulyamov is a renowned expert in investment law, corporate law, and cyber law. He has significantly contributed to the development of these fields in Uzbekistan and internationally. His research has influenced legislation in Uzbekistan and other CIS countries, particularly in corporate governance and investment protection.
As a pioneer in cyber law, Prof. Gulyamov established the first Department of Cyber Law at TSUL in 2023. He has developed innovative courses and international LL.M. programs in collaboration with universities in India, Italy, and Poland.
Prof. Gulyamov has published over 250 scientific works, including in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals. He serves as the editor-in-chief of three scientific journals and is on the editorial boards of eight others. He has supervised numerous PhD and DSc dissertations and founded two scientific schools in corporate law and cyber law.
