Turkish Journal of Forest Science (TJFS) is an international, open access scientific journal that publishes original research in the fields of Forest Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Forest Industrial Engineering, Natural Sciences, and related disciplines, and evaluates submissions through a double-blind peer-review process. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are first subjected to an initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that comply with the journal’s writing guidelines and publication policies are then sent to at least two independent reviewers for evaluation. The peer-review process is not initiated for manuscripts that fall outside the scope of the journal or that do not meet the journal’s formatting and content requirements.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened for plagiarism in accordance with scientific ethical principles using the Intihal.net software integrated into the DergiPark system. Manuscripts with a similarity rate of 25% or higher are rejected and the authors are informed accordingly.
All manuscripts submitted to TJFS will be subjected to the plagiarism detection software, iThenticate. Manuscripts found to have similarity index of 25% or above will be rejected and authors will be appropriately informed.
