Vankulu Journal of Social Research

Vankulu Journal of Social Research (VASAD), which is the publication organ of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Literature Department of History, is a peer-reviewed and scientific journal published twice a year (June and December). VASAD aims to contribute to the knowledge accumulation of social sciences by publishing original and scientific studies in the field of biography.

• The publication language of the journal is Turkish, but articles written in English are also accepted.
• Biography studies are published in the journal. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published in another publication organ, accepted for publication or submitted to another journal simultaneously.
• Papers presented at scientific meetings can be evaluated by the editorial board if they have not been previously published in the proceedings booklet or in another journal. Manuscripts published in the proceedings booklet or in another publication organ for whatever reason will not be published. The members of the editorial board and the editorial team are not obliged to investigate whether the submitted manuscripts have been previously published in another publication organ. The ethical responsibility for this situation belongs to the author or authors of the manuscript.

Vankulu Journal of Social Research will publish only biographical studies with the December issue. The theme of the December issue of our journal is Vankulu Mehmet Efendi. We are waiting for your biography studies in this direction.
