Examination of the Process Components of Learning Outcomes in the Maarif Model Middle School Mathematics Curriculum Based on the SOLO Taxonomy

Öz

This study aims to examine the process components of learning outcomes in the Maarif Model Middle School Mathematics Curriculum, published in April 2024, within the framework of the SOLO Taxonomy. The research design employs the document analysis technique, which allows for the systematic review and evaluation of electronic and printed materials. The data for the study consists of the learning outcomes from the newly published middle school mathematics curriculum. In this context, the process components of the learning outcomes in the 2024 middle school mathematics curriculum were examined within the framework of the SOLO Taxonomy. The findings revealed that, across all grade levels, the process components of learning outcomes were predominantly at the Relational (RL) and Extended Abstract (EA) levels, while only a small portion were classified under the Uni-structural (US) and Multi-structural (MS) levels. Based on the research findings, it is recommended that the process components in the revised mathematics curriculum be structured considering students' developmental levels and grade levels.
