Öz
This research aims to evaluate what social variables affect students' mathematics learning in the context of student and teacher perspectives. This research using qualitative research has been carried out with the phenomenological pattern model. The research was carried out in 2016-2017 educational year with mathematics teachers working in Kahramanmaras and students attending secondary education. The data were collected through a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers.
