Submission and Style Guidelines
The Journal of Translation Studies accepts scholarly articles that fall within the scope of the journal and comply with its submission guidelines. The Editorial Board requires that articles written in Turkish conform to the orthographic rules of the Turkish Language Association. Submissions in other languages—namely English, French, or German—must adhere to the spelling and stylistic conventions of the respective language.
Submissions that fail to meet the specified guidelines will not be considered for peer review.
Manuscripts should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length.
Authors are also required to submit a signed Copyright Transfer Form, confirming that the manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere. This statement must include the author's full name and signature. Please note that submitted manuscripts will not be returned, regardless of their publication status.
Authors must use the designated templates: “Article Template (Anonymous)” and “Article Template (Named).” Each manuscript submission must include both an anonymized and a named version. All manuscripts must conform to APA 7 (American Psychological Association, 7th edition) formatting standards. For examples, please consult the journal’s full submission guidelines. Authors must provide their ORCID researcher identification number.
