Employee Satisfaction in Passenger Services: A Research on Shift Workers in Aviation Enterprises
Abstract
The concept of Employee Satisfaction has a special importance in the aviation sector, as in all service sectors to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Employee satisfaction in the aviation enterprises where shift work is being carried out that plays a fundamental decisive role.
Scope of this study; overall perception of employee satisfaction is to research as perspective in perceived satisfaction with managers, satisfaction of the friendship relations and satisfaction with working conditions. The purpose of this study is to evaulate the satisfaction perceptions of employees who work at passenger servives on the HUB station of the largest national airline company operating in the air passenger transportation sector in Turkey as a holistic perspective.
In the study; the scale was developed by applying the mixed research method, the data were gathered and analyzed by interviewing with the employees who work at shift. The research is to contribute to the literature in terms of theoretical and practical aspects.
