In 2014, I published a second volume related to the Theory of neural Cognition. This theory synthesizes and resumes my research activities of the last 25 years. The Theory of neural Cognition (TnC) claims that our brain does not process information, but represents information - we are only a crystallization of our interactions with the environment. TnC explains how each and every one of our cognitive abilities is implemented by, or through, a set of cortical maps - including consciousness. Since TnC refers explicitly to the eliminative materialism paradigm, these explanations - despite being quite simple - are neither popular, nor widespread.
I earned my Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) degrees from Jahangirnagar University in 1990 and 1992, respectively. Currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the same institution (enrolled 2018-2019), I am hopeful to complete it by 2025. My journey is driven by a deep commitment to academic excellence and impactful research.
Since 2017, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Daffodil International University. With 32 research articles published in national and international journals, I actively contribute to academia through workshops, training sessions, and academic programs. My passion lies in fostering innovation and guiding future pharmacy professionals.
Professor Turkan Kopac earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1983 and a Master of Science degree in 1985 from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Türkiye. She completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 1992 at Gazi University, also in Ankara. In 1994, she conducted eight months of postdoctoral research at the University of Surrey's Department of Chemical and Process Engineering in Guildford, UK. Her research interests encompass adsorption, catalysis, gas capture and storage, nanomaterials, and nano-bio interactions. Since 2002, she has been a professor in the Department of Chemistry at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University in Türkiye. Her administrative roles include serving as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences from 1999 to 2002, Dean of the Faculty from 2002 to 2008, Director of the Environmental Problems Research and Application Center from 2003 to 2010, and Vice Rector of Zonguldak Karaelmas University from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, she held a position as a visiting project professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in Taipei from 2019 to 2021. In 2022 and 2023, she spent one month as a visiting scholar and adjunct faculty member in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in the United States.
