This study was performed in order to examine the relationship between the levels of moral
judgment and interpersonal problem solving skills of preschool children. Stratified sampling
technique was used and totally 265 children were included in the study. ‘Preschool Interpersonal
Problem Solving Test’ which was developed by Shure (1974) and adapted to Turkish by Dinçer
(1995) and ‘Moral Judgment Scale’ which was developed by Çapan (2005) were used. Pearson correlation test was used to determine the association between the variables. According to the
results of the study, there was a positive and low level association between the total scores
obtained from the sub dimensions of children’s moral judgment scale and the mother and total
solution scores of the interpersonal problem-solving test. There was a negatif relation between
children’s peer coercion score and moral judgment scale dimensions, social assistance and
family rule scores.
