Published by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Konuralp, a member of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Iğdır University in Turkey, Lectio Socialis, is an international peer-reviewed academic research journal with a particular interest in policy-relevant issues of social sciences and related disciplines.

Being an interdisciplinary journal, Lectio Socialis brings together articles from a textual, philosophical, and social scientific background, as well as from cultural studies. Some examples of the areas of interest as such: State and Society Relations; Ethnic Conflicts; Policy-Making and Agenda-Setting; Multilevel Governance; Democracratisation and Civil Society; Social Structures and Integration; Migration; Sustainability and Ecological Issues; Science and Society; Strategic Planning; Public Policy Analysis; Issues of Social Policy; Women's and Gender Studies.  

Being experts in their fields, the editorial and advisory board members and referees belong to several universities across the globe.  

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal does not charge authors for their submissions or publication of their articles. 

Under the sponsorship of TUBİTAK ULAKBİM-Dergipark, starting from Volume 5, the journal provides DOI for each and every published article. 

Since the journal is no longer published in print format, ISSN (2602-2443) has been voided as of July 2022, and the e-ISSN (2602-2443) is in effect exclusively.

Lectio Socialis is an international peer-reviewed journal on social sciences, humanities and arts. The journal welcomes articles mainly from the disciplines of economics; political science; public administration; business administration; international relations; urban planning; sociology; psychology; linguistics; literature; history; jurisprudence; philosophy; archaeology; anthropology; comparative religion; ethics; the history, criticism and theory of the arts. The major objective of Lectio Socialis is to maintain a vibrant and independent environment for scholars and researchers from different regions of the globe.
