Lectio Socialis is a renowned academic research journal dedicated to providing a platform for scholars to publish and share their research with a global audience. Published under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Konuralp from Türkiye, the journal maintains a high standard of academic integrity through rigorous peer review conducted by experts in various fields.

Focusing on policy-relevant topics within the social sciences and related disciplines, Lectio Socialis serves as a valuable resource for policymakers, researchers, and students. The journal welcomes both monodisciplinary and interdisciplinary research, encouraging studies that draw on multiple perspectives, theories, and methodologies to address complex issues.

Lectio Socialis publishes diverse articles encompassing textual, philosophical, social-scientific, and cultural studies. Committed to the open-access model, Lectio Socialis makes its content freely available to all, fostering a more extensive and global exchange of knowledge. The journal does not charge authors any fees for submission or publication, removing financial barriers to the dissemination of research.

Lectio Socialis signed the DORA Declaration (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment) on March 13, 2021, which signifies its commitment to promoting a more realistic, fair, and unbiased approach to evaluating scientific research. By signing DORA, Lectio Socialis aligns itself with the principles aimed at improving how the impact and quality of scientific work are assessed.

Starting from Volume 5, each published article in Lectio Socialis is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) under the sponsorship of TUBITAK ULAKBIM, enhancing the accessibility and citation of the research.

In response to the evolving landscape of academic publishing, Lectio Socialis has transitioned to a digital-only format. The print ISSN (2602-2443) was discontinued in July 2022, and the journal now exclusively uses its e-ISSN (2602-2443) for all digital publications.

Lectio Socialis will transition to a continuous publication system beginning with Volume 9 in 2025, with accepted articles published promptly and a single issue published each December.
