Advertising Policy

Advertising Policy

The Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of Sports Sciences adopts a transparent and ethically grounded approach to advertising practices in order to safeguard editorial independence and academic integrity.

Types of Advertisements and Acceptance Process

The journal does not accept advertisements that target or influence journal content, editorial decisions, or reader behaviour. All advertising proposals, if any, are evaluated independently by the Editorial Board. The acceptance of advertisements is conducted separately from the manuscript submission, review, and publication processes.

Decision-Making Process

Decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of advertisements are made solely by the journal editors. These decisions are based on ethical considerations and institutional policies and are not connected to the scientific content, authors, or editorial outcomes of the journal.

Separation of Advertising and Editorial Content

Any approved advertisements are clearly distinguished from editorial content and are presented in a manner that does not interfere with the reading experience or compromise the journal’s academic mission. Advertisements are published without the intention of influencing readers’ interpretation of published research or the journal’s editorial decision-making processes.

Through this policy, the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of Sports Sciences reaffirms its commitment to maintaining editorial independence, transparency, and the highest standards of academic publishing ethics.
