Dr. Öner Demirel, is a Professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Forestry, Karadeniz Technical University. He earned his MS from Aegean University (İzmir-Turkey) in 1988 and received his PhD from Karadeniz Technical University in the field of tourism and recreation planning in 1997. He has a long experience of international cooperation with French speaking countries i.e. with Belgium, France and Switzerland as well as USA. In addition, he participated in a project as a Collaborating Researcher about Rural Recreation and Ecotourism at the Department of Recreation Management and Tourism of Arizona State University between August 2001- June 2002. Between August 2011-February 2012 he received an International Research Project Support to carry out research on the subject of Visitor Impact Management at Northern Arizona University in the US.
His studies mostly focus on the recreational and touristic uses of natural and cultural resources of our country and the evaluation of these uses. His currently research interest is Urban Design and Green Network Planning and Nature Conservation Planning. He is involved in several projects dealing with urban rehabilitation studies and landscape planning in cities. He has volunteered for Environment and Nature Protection Associations and Non-Governmental Organizations and has served a director.

Received her B.Arch (2003) in architecture and MSc. (2006) in interior architecture from Karadeniz Technical University (KTU), Faculty of Architecture. Earned her PhD (2012) degree in architecture from the Institute of Natural Sciences in Karadeniz Technical University. Currently working as an Assoc. Prof. Dr. at the Department of interior architecture, Akdeniz University. Major research interests include design and design process, ergonomy, historical environments and cultural heritage, interior/furniture styles and sustainability.

Dr. Meryem Bihter Bingül Bulut is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Kırıkkale University (KKU). She received her B.A. in Landscape Architecture at the Ankara University and M.L.A. in Landscape Architecture at the University of Colorado, Denver, and her Ph.D. in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources at Colorado State University. Her research focus on the human dimensions (social science) of natural resources as applied to landscape planning, and recreation and tourism settings. Specifically, she focuses on social science concepts such as norms, encounters, crowding, satisfaction, attitudes. She also has worked in survey research methodologies and statistical analysis.

Elif Tokdemir Demirel is an Associate Proffesor of ELT. She currently teaches at Kırıkkale University Translation and Interpretation Department. She specializes in the teaching of academic writing, feedback, corpus linguistics, digital humanities and classroom interaction analysis. She holds a PhD from METU, ELT department (2009) and a Masters degree from Bilkent University MA-TEFL Program.

Kağan Günçe is Professor of Architecture at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in North Cyprus. He is a full-time professor in the Department of Interior Architecture, EMU. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research at EMU. He has a Bachelor degree in Architectural Program, a Master (of Science) degree in Architecture Program and Ph.D. in Architectural Theory from EMU, Department of Architecture. He was the director of HERA-C (Housing Education, Research & Advisory Centre) and he was the head of the Interior Architecture Department at EMU. He was a long-time University senator and is currently the elected professor representative senator. His research interests include architectural theory, design, environmental psychology, conservation, housing issues and childhood space. He has also collaborated with researchers in several other disciplines such as role of technology in shaping memory of architectural space / topics in profession and education of interior architecture. He has articles, papers in many national and international journals & conferences, and international research projects in the mentioned fields. His academic work has received many citations in web of science platform.
