OANNES - International Journal of Ancient History

OANNES Journal is an international peer-reviewed academic journal published halfly March, and September. The journal publishes articles in English.

While the journal's target readership primarily includes academics, students, and researchers, it appeals to all segments of society.

The types of manuscripts accepted for publication by the journal are Research Articles and Review Articles.

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that pass this stage are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers. Throughout the editorial and review stages, all submissions are evaluated in accordance with the principles of fairness and impartiality. Individual academic timelines, tenure or promotion procedures, and similar personal circumstances do not constitute grounds for priority or expedited evaluation.

Manuscripts that successfully complete the peer-review process are published assigned to a specific halfly issue.

Submissions that do not comply with the article template provided in the Author Guidelines will be rejected during the initial editorial screening.
