Çoklu Yetersizliği Olan Az Gören Çocuklara Doğrudan Öğretimle Sunulan Şematik Düzenleyicinin Bir Fen Konusunun Öğretiminde Etkisi

Öz

Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, az gören ve orta düzeyde
zihinsel yetersizlikten etkilenmiş üç öğrenciye, fen konularından biri olan
‘kurbağanın yaşam döngüsü’ konusunun öğretilmesinde doğrudan öğretim yöntemi
ile sunulan şematik düzenleyicinin etkililiğini, bireylerin konu hakkındaki
öğrenmelerini öğretim sona erdikten 7,14 ve 21 gün sonra da sürdürüp
sürdüremediğini belirlemektir. Araştırma, Ankara ilinde bulunan, görme
engelliler okulu ve özel alt sınıfa devam eden ayrıca özel eğitim kurumunda da
eğitim gören az gören ve orta düzeyde zihinsel yetersizliği bulunan biri yedek
olmak üzere dört öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada katılımcılar arası çoklu
yoklama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanabilmesi için,
öğretmen ve aile görüşme formları, beceri kontrol listesi, ölçüt bağımlı ölçü
araçları, uygulama güvenirliği ve sosyal geçerlilik formları geliştirilmiş ve
kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre; doğrudan öğretim yöntemi ile
sunulan şematik düzenleyicinin ‘kurbağanın yaşam döngüsü’ konusunun
öğretilmesinde etkili olduğu ve her üç katılımcının da öğretim sona erdikten
7,14 ve 21 gün sonra öğrendikleri konunun tamamını bağımsız şekilde şema
üzerinden gösterebildikleri belirlenmiştir.
