Talent management, as a strategic sub-discipline of human resource management, plays an important role in the success of organizations. This study aims to examine the trends of academic studies in the field of talent management between 2014 and 2024 through bibliometric analysis. We analyzed 489 articles in the Web of Science (WoS) database, focusing on the research areas of “Business” and “Management”. Using VOSviewer software for bibliometric analysis, key concepts in talent management literature, collaboration networks, authors' contributions and citation performance of the articles were evaluated. The results show that concepts such as “human capital” and “leadership development” are central in the talent management literature. It was also found that the most cited articles examined the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the business world. The analysis reveals that the United States and the United Kingdom are the most influential countries in this field, while Monash University, Dublin City University and Tilburg University play a central role in terms of academic institutions. These findings emphasize that talent management literature plays a strategic role in the business world and that there is a growing academic interest in this field.
