Evaluation of WEB Pages of Health Institutions with Health Tourism Authorization Certificate in terms of Medical Tourism: A Qualitative Research on Health Institutions Operating in Samsun

Öz

In the study, it is aimed to examine the web pages of 25 health institutions in Samsun province that have health tourism authorization certificate in terms of medical tourism and to make suggestions. Qualitative research method was applied in the study. Data were collected by document analysis technique. The data were analyzed by content analysis. The scale developed by Maifredi et al. (2010) and validated by Buzcu and Birdir (2014) in Turkish was used to analyze the data. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that all of the web pages of health institutions provide services in Turkish, English, Arabic and Russian. It was determined that all of the health institutions can be contacted via the web page and all patients can make appointments via the web page. No information on prices and pricing was found on the web pages. It was determined that most hospitals do not have virtual tours and animations on their web pages.

Sağlık Turizmi Yetki Belgesine Sahip Sağlık Kurumlarının WEB Sayfalarının Medikal Turizm Açısından Değerlendirilmesi: Samsun’da Faaliyet Gösteren Sağlık Kurumları Üzerine Nitel Bir Araştırma

Öz

Çalışmada Samsun ilinde bulunan ve sağlık turizmi yetki belgesine sahip 25 sağlık kurumunun web sayfalarının medikal turizm açısından incelenmesi ve önerilerde bulunulması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Veriler doküman analizi tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analiz edilmesi için Maifredi ve diğerleri (2010) tarafından geliştirilen ve Buzcu ve Birdir (2014) tarafından Türkçe geçerlilik ve güvenilirliği yapılan ölçek kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularında sağlık kurumlarının web sayfalarının tamamının Türkçe, İngilizce, Arapça ve Rusça dillerinde hizmet verdiği belirlenmiştir. Sağlık kurumlarının tamamı ile web sayfası üzerinden iletişim kurulabildiği ve tüm hastaların web sayfası üzerinden randevu alabildikleri tespit edilmiştir. Web sayfalarında fiyat ve ücretlendirme konusunda herhangi bir bilgiye ulaşılamamıştır. Çoğu hastanenin web sayfasında sanal tur ve animasyonlar olmadığı belirlenmiştir.
