Kamu ve Özel Lise Öğrencilerinin Okul Bağlılıklarının Bazı Değişkenlere Göre İncelenmesi

Öz

Okul
bağlılığı, öğrencinin kendini okulun önemli bir parçası olarak görmesi ve
bilişsel, duygusal ve davranışsal olarak kendini okulla özdeşleştirmesidir.
Okul bağlılığında bireysel ve okula ilişkin faktörler rol oynamaktadır. Bu
kapsamda bu çalışmanın amacı ise lise öğrencilerinin okul bağlılığını okul
türü, sınıf düzeyi ve cinsiyet değişkenlere göre incelemektir. Tarama modeline
dayalı yürütülen araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Ankara ili merkez ilçelerde
bulunan özel ve devlet okullarında öğrenim gören 591 lise öğrencisi
oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Arastaman (2006) tarafından
geliştirilen Okul Bağlılığı Ölçeği
kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde çok değişkenli varyans analizi
(MANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalı olarak incelendiğinde katılımcıların
okul bağlılığının cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyine göre anlamlı şekilde
farklılaştığı, okul türünün anlamlı bir farklılık yaratmadığı sonucuna
varılmıştır. Bu üç değişkenin etkileşiminin ise bağlılık üzerinde anlamlı fark
yarattığı görülmüştür. Bu bulgular eğitimde politika geliştiren karar
alıcıların, öğrencilerin okul bağlılığını artıracak süreçlere cinsiyeti, sınıf
düzeyini ve okul türünü kapsayan, bütüncül okul bağlılığı yapısı içinde
bakmaları gerektiğine işaret etmektedir.
