UBED is an online, open-access, free-of-charge journal that implements double-anonymous peer review. It publishes scientific articles across a broad range of fields encompassing teaching and related disciplines. The journal features quantitative, qualitative, and mixed studies in the area of learning, teaching, and education for all age levels, from preschool education to adult education.

Ethics Committee Approval Certificate: In accordance with the TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria, “Ethics Committee Approval” is required for articles based on changes made for the year 2020. Accordingly, starting from January 1, 2021, it is mandatory to upload the Ethics Committee Approval/Permission Document for all articles submitted to UBED. [See TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria Article 8] For publications produced from theses and projects completed before 2021, an ethics committee document will not be required. Researchers must provide information regarding this situation to the editorial board on the title page.
Plagiarism Report: As of January 1, 2021, the journal editorial board has decided to require a Plagiarism/Similarity Report for works submitted to UBED. The plagiarism/similarity rate (excluding references and author information) has been set to a maximum of 25%.
