Dr. Nihat Kotluk is an independent educational sciences researcher at the moment. His teaching and research interests include educational psychology, culturally relevant pedagogy, culturally responsive science teaching, culturally relevant STEM education, social justice education, equity in education, multicultural education, diversity, and educational technology. In the doctoral dissertation, he focused on teachers' views and self-efficacy beliefs about culturally relevant pedagogy in Turkey.
