Bio

Al Hashmi completed a Ph.D. degree in the School of Environmental Materials and Process Engineering, energy resources in Leeds University, United Kingdom in 2015.he is an experienced professional in the field of solar technology engineering. Has a rich academic and research background in order to designing systems related to renewable energy and solar energy in particular, teaching renewable energy curricula, managing experimental research and manufacturing renewable energy production systems. I worked as a teacher of physics and energy for 14 years. Where he supervised the design, construction and installation of the 22 MW in-grid station. I designed an innovative solar parabolic concenter using phase change materials –thermal storage. He has great experience in designing and testing thermal storage materials (phase change materials). Where he tested more than 50 thermal storage materials as scientific research using solar thermal energy. Participated in many scientific conferences related to the field of renewable energy, the latest of which is the Riyadh Conference 6.2.2023 .He awarded first place in the Vision Award for Young Innovation Initiatives (Renewable Energy) in 2015. Currently, Al hashmi is now Research Assistant in Center for Environmental Studies and Research, Sultan Qaboos University His research interests are; Solar Thermal System, Renewable Energy Technologies , Energy Storage , Energy efficiency. In addition, is currently focus on Solar Concentrator with Stirling Engine & PCM-Storage Hybrid Model in Oman. To improve my professional skills in educational institution and to use what I have achieved in my academic live to the benefit of the society, country, and worldwide. In addition, my objective is to have the opportunity of working in different conditions.
