I was born in Ezine on May 21st, 1977. I was graduated History Department of Ege University on June 25th, 1999. I have begun to work at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University in the same year. My master thesis theme was English Ambassador Sir Gerard Lowther’s Turkey Report 1908. I have translated that report, criticized, and compared it with Turkish sources, and that work completed in 2002. Then I have begun my Ph.D. education at Istanbul University. My Ph.D. completed in 2010. My Ph.D. thesis was “Armenian Factor in Anglo-Turkish Relations”. And now I’m a Ph.D. historian in Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Turkey. I’m working as an Assist. Prof. Dr. in the Education Faculty. My special interest areas are Anglo-Turkish Relations early 20th century, Gallipoli Battles 1915, Armenian Question, Late Ottoman Socio-Economic History, Canakkale City History, Istanbul City History, Troia Region Modern History (From 19th century to mid-20th century). In addition to those areas I have written, supervised, and sometimes directed more than 43 documentary films concerning the aforementioned areas. I have published 20 books and many papers on them. I’m still working on those areas and also working on history education, video, and game-based history education. I have published two books about the Gallipoli Battle cartoons and caricatures and organized or joined numerous exhibitions of Gallipoli Battle cartoons and caricatures. I’m planning to organize an online exhibition in 2017 and 2018 for international purposes and uses.
I’m a real team member in my work areas. I have work with different races, different religions, different cultures in whole my life and I achieved to work within harmony, most of the time I lead them, sometimes I followed them but we have completed the work at hand with success. Also, I know, “Success is not the final, failure is not fatal - it is the courage to continue that counts”, Winston Churchill.
Media and advertising are my hobby areas and concerning those areas, I have completed a lot of teamwork for companies, for governmental bodies, for persons, etc.
I love films, taking photos of incredible landscapes and interesting places and also like different recipes and tastes of different cuisines of other cultures.
