Zobayer Ahmed currently pursuing his PhD in Economics at Selcuk University, Turkey. Moreover, Mr. Ahmed is a faculty member (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Economics & Banking, International Islamic University Chittagong. Earlier he completed BSS (Hon's) and MSS in Economics from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. Later, he achieved Master of Development Studies (MDS) from the University of Dhaka. He started his career as a professional researcher in Unnayan Shamannay, a civil society think-tank founded by Prof. Dr. Atiur Rahman, former governor of central bank of Bangladesh. Mr. Ahmed attended various conferences both at home and in abroad. He has visited India, Nepal, Turkey and Malaysia so far.
