He was born in Ankara in 1983. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History, and Geography, Department of History, in 2007. Between 2008 and 2011, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of History, Faculty of Letters, Muğla University. From 2011 to 2017, he served in the same capacity at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History. Since 2018, he has been working at Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History. His research focuses on General Turkish History, Caucasian History, and Russian History.

Aim

Eurasian Journal of Humanities Research aims to provide an international scholarly platform for the publication of original and high-quality academic studies in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities. The journal accepts previously unpublished research that contributes significantly to the advancement of knowledge within relevant disciplines. It covers a wide range of fields, including archaeology, geography, language and literature, education, philosophy, psychology, history, art, art history, and sociology. Submitted studies are expected to present innovative approaches, methods, or findings that expand the boundaries of existing knowledge, while offering new perspectives or empirical evidence that enrich academic discussions. The primary objective of the journal is to foster the progress of the humanities by encouraging interdisciplinary interaction and contributing to the enrichment of scholarly debates.

Scope

Eurasian Journal of Humanities Research provides a platform for the publication of high-quality, research-based scholarly articles that offer original contributions to the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities. The journal welcomes submissions of previously unpublished works that present significant advancements within their respective disciplines. Its scope encompasses a wide range of areas, including archaeology, geography, language and literature, education, philosophy, psychology, history, art, art history, and sociology. Contributions are expected to introduce innovative ideas, methodologies, or findings that expand the boundaries of current knowledge, delivering fresh perspectives or empirical evidence that enhance academic dialogue. In addition, the journal places special emphasis on interdisciplinary research that bridges multiple fields, fostering broader intellectual engagement and enriching scholarly exchange across the humanities and social sciences.

📢 Announcement: Pursuant to a resolution by the Editorial Board, starting from the year 2026, all Turkish-language manuscripts submitted to our journal will be required to include an extended abstract in English, with a length between 600 and 750 words. This measure is intended to improve the international reach, visibility, and accessibility of our published content. Authors are respectfully requested to ensure that their submissions comply with this new requirement.


1. The Turkish Title of the study should be written in 14-point font in “Roboto Condensed” (font style) with the first letter of each word capitalized (except conjunctions) and maximum 15 words should be bold.
2. The English Title of the study should be written with the first letter of each word capitalized (excluding conjunctions) and in “Roboto Condensed” font in 12-point font and no more than 15 words should be bold.
3. The author information section should be left blank. “do not write names!”
4. Abstract: In this section, the purpose of the study, the material(s) and method(s) used, important findings and the result(s) obtained should be clearly and concisely stated. The text should be written in “Roboto Light” font, 9 pt. and single-spaced in accordance with Turkish spelling rules. There should be no paragraphs. The text to be included in this section should be between 100-200 words.
5. Do not make changes in the sections containing author names and addresses, date information and corresponding author.
6. Keywords: In this section, please include at least 3 and at most 5 Turkish keywords describing your study, separated by commas, in “Roboto Light” font in 9 pt.
7. Abstract: In this section, the purpose of the study, the material(s) and method(s) used, significant findings and the conclusion(s) obtained should be clearly and concisely stated. The text should be written in “Roboto Light” font, 9 pt. and single-spaced in accordance with English spelling rules. There should be no paragraphs. The text to be included in this section should be between 100-200 words.

9. Articles should include the titles Introduction, Conclusion and Discussion. Method, Results and Recommendations should be added according to the field.
10. The text should be written in accordance with the Turkish spelling rules in “Adobe Garamond Pro” font, 11 pt, 6 pt before, 6 pt after, single line spacing. Page dimensions: Top: 2.00, Left: 2.00, Bottom: 2.00, Right: 2,00.
11. Introduction (Main headings should be centered. Only the first letter of the words should be capitalized).
12. After pasting the full text of your article on the template, make sure that the fonts are in accordance with the styles on the template. Articles whose fonts do not match the styles on the template will be sent back to you for editing. Be careful not to leave any spaces in the text with the “enter” key.
13. Subheading 1 (Subheadings should be left justified. Only the first letter of the words should be capitalized).
14. Footnotes to be used in articles should be written in “Adobe Garamond Pro” font, 8 pt. and single-spaced. Do not write references in footnotes. Only briefly introduce terms or concepts specific to your field in one sentence.
15. To apply the formatting styles in the article, select the formatting style of the relevant section for each text you transfer to the template. Check the font size and type. It is not enough to transfer only the text.
16. References: References should be organized according to APA 7 bibliography system. The bibliography section should start on a new page.
17. Your article should not exceed 25 pages (including references) (Note: Appendices are not included in the page count).

Publication Ethics and Publication Policy

The publication process at Eurasian Journal of Humanities Research (ABBAD) is the basis of the improvement and dissemination of information objectively and respectfully. Therefore, the procedures in this process improve the quality of the studies. Peer-reviewed studies are the ones that support and materialize the scientific method. At this point, it is of utmost importance that all parties included in the publication process (authors, readers and researchers, publisher, reviewers and editors) comply with the standards of ethical considerations. Eurasian Journal of Humanities Research expects all parties to hold the following ethical responsibilities.

Avrasya Journal of Humanities Research adheres to the principles of ethical publishing as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME). In this context, the ethical duties and responsibilities outlined below have been prepared in accordance with the guidelines and policies made openly available by COPE.
The following ethical duties and responsibilities are written in the light of the guide and policies made by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Artificial Intelligence Policy General
The inappropriate use of artificial intelligence encompasses the generation of misleading text or content, plagiarism, or improper citation of prior sources. While manuscripts will not be rejected solely on the grounds of AI usage, the Editor reserves the right to reject a submission at any stage of the publication process if inappropriate use of AI is identified in the preparation of the manuscript.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Correction, Retraction, Expression of Concern
Editor should consider publishing correction if minor errors that do not effect the results, interpretations and conclusions of the published paper are detected. Editor should consider retraction if major errors and/or misconduction that invalidate results and conclusions are detected. Editor should consider issuing an expression of concern if there is evidence of research or publication misconduct by the authors; there is evidence that the findings are not reliable and institutions of the authors do not investigate the case or the possible investigation seems to be unfair or nonconclusive. The guidelines of COPE are taken into consideration regarding correction, retractions or expression of concern.

Plagiarism Action Plan and Journal Precautions
The journal respects intellectual property and aims to protect and promote the original work of its authors. Articles containing plagiarism are against the standards of quality, research, and innovation. Therefore, all authors who submit articles to the journal are expected to comply with ethical standards and avoid plagiarism in any form. If an author is suspected of plagiarism in a submitted or published article, the journal's Ethics Editor reviews the work first. This work is then reviewed by the Editorial Board. The Journal then contacts the author(s) to submit their comments within two weeks. If the journal does not receive any response from the author within the specified time, it requests the investigation of the claim by contacting the university to which the author is affiliated. The journal will take the following serious precautions against published articles that are found to contain plagiarism.

1. The journal will immediately contact the university to which the author(s) are affiliated, in order to take final action against the related author.
2. The journal will remove the PDF copy of the published article from its website and disable all links to the full-text article. The phrase Plagiarized Article will be added to the title of the published article.
3. The journal will disable the author's account and reject all future submissions by the author for a period of 3 years.

Journal Checks for Plagiarism
Submitted manuscripts that pass preliminary control are scanned for plagiarism using iThenticate software. If plagiarism/self-plagiarism will be found authors will be informed. Editors may resubmit the manuscript for similarity check at any peer-review or production stage if required. High similarity scores may lead to rejection of a manuscript before and even after acceptance. The percentage of similarity score taken from each article, the overall similarity score is generally expected to be less than 25%.

Publication of Studies Based on Survey and Interview
Eurasian Journal of Humanities Research adopts the "Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors" and "Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers" of the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) in order to create ethical assurance in scientific periodicals. In this context, the authors are requested to comply with the following issues in the studies submitted to the journal:
1) Ethics committee approval should be obtained for research conducted in all disciplines that require ethics committee approval, this approval should be stated on the first page of the article and the ethics approval document should be uploaded to the Dergipark system with the article.
2) In research that requires ethics committee permission, information about the permission (name of the committee, date and number) is given in the method section, and after the bibliography section of the article; In case reports, information about signing the informed consent/consent form should be included in the article.

Special Issue Publishing Policy
Our journal publishes a special issue annually, in December, upon the request of the Editorial Board. The articles sent to our journal for publication are first subjected to an editorial review and it is checked whether they have been prepared in accordance with the journal's publication policy and writing principles. It is then subjected to a similarity scan to prevent plagiarism. Articles that pass these stages without any problems are included in the peer review process using the double-blind model.

 Publication and Authorship
• List of references, financial support;
• No plagiarism, no fraudulent data. As a result of plagiarism control, articles with a similarity rate of 25% more are directly rejected in accordance with the journal's publication policy.
• Forbidden to publish same research in more than one journal.

 Author’s Responsibilities
• Authors obliged to participate in peer review process;
• All authors have significantly contributed to the research;
• Statement that all data in article are real and authentic;
• All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.

Peer-review / Responsibility for the Reviewers
• Judgments should be objective;
• Reviewers should have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders;
• Reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited;
• Reviewed articles should be treated confidentially.

Editorial Responsibilities
• Editors have complete responsibility and authority to reject/accept an article;
• Editors should have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/accept;
• Only accept a paper when reasonably certain;
• When errors are found, promote publication of correction or retraction;
• Preserve anonymity of reviewers.
• No plagiarism, no fraudulent data.

Publishing Ethics Issues
• Monitoring/safeguarding publishing ethics by editorial board;
• Guidelines for retracting articles;
• Maintain the integrity of the academic record;
• Preclude business needs from compromising intellectual and ethical standards;
• Always be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed.

Duties of the Publisher
Eurasian Journal of Humanities Research is committed to ensuring that commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, ABBAD will assist in communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful to editors. Finally, we are working closely with other publishers and industry associations to set standards for best practices on ethical matters, errors and retractions–and are prepared to provide specialized legal review and counsel if necessary.

Plagiarism Detection
Eurasian Journal of Humanities Research uses double-blind review fulfilled by at least two reviewers. In addition, all articles are checked by means of a program in order to confirm they are not published before and avoid plagiarism.
The peer review process is at the heart of the success of scientific publishing. As part of our commitment to the protection and enhancement of the peer review process, ABBAD has an obligation to assist the scientific community in all aspects of publishing ethics, especially in cases of (suspected) duplicate submission or plagiarism.

1971'de Özbekistan’ın başkenti Taşkent’te Türk dünyasının bülbülü, meşhur ozan, şair ve siyasetçi Dedehan Hasan’ın ailesinde dünyaya gelmiştir. 1994'te Taşkent Devlet Üniversitesi (bugünkü Mirza Uluğbey Özbekistan Milli Üniversitesi) Özbek Filolojisi Fakültesinden mezun olmuştur.
1995’de çalışmaya başladığı Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti Bilimler Akademisi Ali Şir Nevai Özbek Dili, Edebiyatı ve Folkloru Enstitüsünde 1999’da Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkul danışmanlığında “Sultan Ahmed Hazini’nin “Cevahir ül-ebrar min emvac il-bihar” eseri ve Yesevilik araştırmalarındaki ilmi-tarihi değeri” konusunda doktora (PhD) tezini vermiştir.
2001-2004’te aynı kurumda post doktora eğitimi görmüş, 2004’te bilimsel çalışmalarından dolayı Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti Bilimler Akademisi Başkanlığınca yılın genç akademisyeni ödülüne layık görülmüştür.
2011'de Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti Yüksek Atestasyon Komisyonu tarafından Doçent ünvanı verilmiştir. 2017 senesinde Özbek Dili, Edebiyatı ve Folkloru Enstitüsünde “Yesevilikle ilgili kaynaklar ve “Divan-ı Hikmet” incelemesi” konulu tez çalışması için Doctor of Sciences akademik derecesi verilmiştir.
2015-2020’de Karabük Üniversitesinde öğretim üyesi olarak çalışırken Araştırma Teknikleri, Türk Mitolojisi, Şiir Tahlilleri, Halk Edebiyatı, Metin Şerhi, Türk Tasavvuf Edebiyatı, Eski Türk Edebiyatına giriş, Tasavvuf Edebiyatı, Çağatay Edebiyatı, Özbek Edebiyatı, Özbek Türkçesi Metinleri, Çağatayca, Yesevi Hikmet Mektebi, Türkistan Milli uyanış edebiyatı gibi derslere girmiştir.
2018’de Karabük Üniversitesinde Profesör olarak atanmış, Karabük Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü nezdindeki Cengiz Aytmatov Türk Dünyası Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezinde Müdür yardımcılığı yapmıştır (2018-2020).
Taşkent Devlet Doğu Bilimleri Üniversitesi Türkoloji Fakültesinde (2021-2022) "Türk edebiyatı" derslerine girmiştir.; 2023 yıl itibariyle Mirza Uluğbey Özbekistan Milli Üniversitesi Özbek Filolojisi Fakültesinde "Tasavvuf ve edebiyat", "Türk dünyası edebiyatı", "Çağatay Edebiyatı Tarihi" gibi derslere girmektedir.
Üniversitelerde doktora (5 adet) ve yüksek lisans (25 adet) tezlerine danışmanlık yapmıştır.
Avrupa (Sephis), Türkiye (yüksek öğretim kurumları destekli) ve Özbekistan (Özbekistan Bilimler Akademisi, Özbekistan Uluslararası İslam Akademisi, Özbekistan İslam Uygarlık Merkezi)’daki bilimsel projelerde çalışmıştır.
Türkiye, Özbekistan ve Kazakistan’da düzenlenen birçok uluslararası ve ulusal zirve, sempozyum, kurultay ve çalıştaylara katılarak bildiriler sunmuş, konferans ve seminerler vermiştir.

Türkiye-Özbekistan arasındaki ilim, eğitim ve kültür alanlarındaki ilişkilerin gelişmesine, Türkiye’nin Özbekistan’da tanıtılması hususunda, birçok Türkçe kitabın, eserin ve filmlerin Özbek Türkçesine çevrilerek yayınlanmasına katkıda bulunmuştur.
İstanbul’da Özbekistan ile Dostluğu Geliştirme Derneğini kurup, Özbekistan’dan yazar, düşünür ve akademisyenlerin Türkiye’ye gelip seminerler vermesine, Türkiye’deki gelişmeleri Özbekistan’a aktararak, Türkiye’yi tanıtmalarına, bu vesileyle iki ülke arasında bir kültür köprüsü olmaya çalışmıştır.
Halen Özbekistan Millî Üniversitesinde hizmet etmektedir. Evli, üç çocuk babasıdır. Ana dili dışında Türkiye Türkçesi ve Rusça bilmektedir.

As Barakayev Nusratullo Rajabovich, I have had the privilege of contributing to both academic literature and practical
advancements in my field through various publications. My research has spanned diverse areas, particularly focusing
on the dynamics of agricultural machinery and grain processing.
Among my notable publications is "Dynamics of the Membrane of the Electrical Discharge Pressure Generator,"
which explores key mechanical concepts that contribute to the efficiency of such systems. Furthermore, I have
examined various strategies to improve the operational speeds of cotton harvesting machinery in my work titled "On
One of the Directions to Increase the Working Speeds of Cotton Harvesting Machines." This research aims to
enhance productivity and operational efficiency in the agriculture sector.
My contributions also extend to the field of grain processing, where I analyzed the mechanical properties of local
wheat grains and their impact on flour production. Noteworthy publications include "The Effect of Local Wheat
Grain's Mechanical Properties on Flour Production" and "Factors Influencing the Grain Grinding Process in Roller
Mills." These works reflect my commitment to advancing our understanding of agricultural technologies.
I have developed several models for evaluating the efficiency of cotton harvesting and processing, highlighted in
works such as "Development of a Model to Assess the Efficiency of Cotton Extraction by Horizontal-Spindle Cotton
Harvesting Machines" and "Modeling of Interaction Dynamics of Spindles and Cotton Capsules in Harvesting
Apparatus."
In addition to publishing research, I have played a crucial role in improving grain cleaning technologies through
works such as "Improvement of the Process and Models for Grain Purification from Impurities" and "Technological
Principles for Increasing the Productivity of Combined Separators." My research on the kinematics of spindles and
their interaction with harvesting mechanisms has provided valuable insights into the optimization of agricultural
processes.
I have also contributed to the study of pneumatic separation and mechanization in grain processing, evident in
"Analysis of the Structure-Mechanical Properties of Local Grain Varieties" and the framework for designing effective
grain cleaning systems. My dedication to practical applications is further emphasized in the development of mobile
cleaners and the study of mobile separation technologies for agricultural products.
In summary, my responsibilities have ranged from academic leadership to active research participation, all aimed at
fostering growth and improvement within higher education. My achievements reflect my dedication to excellence in
teaching, administration, and research, which I continue to pursue in my current role as the rector of Renaissance
University of Education.

21.08.1988 tarihinde Kazakistan’ın Almatı eyaletine bağlı Kapşagay kasabasında doğdum. İlk ve ortaokulu doğduğum yerim Kapşagay’da okudum. 15 yaşımdan itibaren Astana’da yaşıyorum. Liseyi Astana’da tamamladım. 2006 yılında Astana Avrasya Millî Üniversitesi, Dil ve Tarih Fakültesi Kazak Dili ve Edebiyatı Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nü kazandım. Bu bölümden 2010 yılında mezun oldum. 2010 yılında Astana Avrasya Millî Üniversitesi, Uluslararası İlişkiler Fakültesi Türkoloji bölümümü kazandım. Bu bölümden 2012 yılında mezun oldum. 2012 yılından 2014 yılına kadar Astana Avrasya Millî Üniversitesi, Uluslararası İlişkiler Fakültesi, Türkoloji bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak çalıştım. 2014 yılında Ege Üniversitesi, Türk Dünyası Araştırmaları Enstitüsü Türk Dili ve Lehçeleri Bölümü’ndae Doktora eğitimine başladım. 2018 yılında Doktora mezun oldum. 2019 yılından Kazakistan'daki Üniversitelerde Dr. Öğretim Üyesi olarak çalıştım. 17.10.2020-31.12.2021 tarihleri arasında Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Erbaa Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimler Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümünde Dr. Öğretim Üyesi olarak çalıştım.

Hywel Dix is Professor of English at Bournemouth University, UK. He has published extensively on the relationship between literature, culture and political change in contemporary Britain, most notably in Postmodern Fiction and the Break-Up of Britain (2010), After Raymond Williams: Cultural Materialism and the Break-Up of Britain (Second Edition, 2013) and Multicultural Narratives: Traces and Perspectives, co-edited with Mustafa Kirca (2018). His wider research interests include modern and contemporary literature, critical cultural theory, authorial careers and autofiction. His monograph about literary careers entitled The Late-Career Novelist was published in 2017 and an edited collection of essays on Autofiction in English was published by Palgrave in 2018. His study of Brexit and fiction was published by University of Wales Press as Compatriots or Competitors? Welsh, Scottish, English and Northern Irish Writing and Brexit in Comparative Contexts in 2022. He has recently completed a study entitled Autofiction and Cultural Memory with Routledge.

1969 yılında Tavşanlı/ Kütahya’da doğdu. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Tavşanlı’da tamamladı. 1992 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Dil ve Tarih Coğrafya Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. Aynı yıl Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Tarih bölümünde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak göreve başladı. Asr-ı Saadet’te Müslüman Hıristiyan İlişkileri adlı Yüksek Lisans tezini (Van/1995) ve Tarihî Coğrafyacılığın Doğuşu ve Gelişimi adlı Doktora tezini (Ankara/2000) hazırladı. 2003 yılında YYÜ Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Tarih Bölümüne Yrd. Doç. Dr. olarak atandı. 2009 yılında Gaziantep Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi’nde göreve başladı. 2011 yılında Doç. Dr., 2016 yılında Prof. Dr. unvanlarını aldı. Ocak 2015 tarihinde Karabük Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi’nde göreve başladı. Halen aynı üniversitede görevini sürdürmektedir.

Dr. Ramazan Cansoy

Doktora eğitimini 2015 yılında Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesinde Eğitim Yönetimi, Teftişi, Planlaması ve Ekonomisi alanında tamamladı. 1997-2015 yılları arasında öğretmenlik yaptı. Okullarda, farklı yönetim birimlerinde ve kurullarda görevler aldı. Karabük Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Eğitim Bilimleri Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak çalışmalarına devam etmektedir. Başlıca çalışma alanları şunlardır: Eğitimde Liderlik, Okul İyileştirme ve Geliştirme.

Doç. Dr. Sherzodhon Mahmudov 1994-1999 yıllarında Fergana Devlet Üniversitesi (Özbekistan) Şarkiyat Bölümünde lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimini tamamladı. 1999-2002 yıllarında Hokand Devlet Pedagoji Üniversitesinin Tarih Fakültesi Genel Tarih Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak çalıştı. 2002-2005 yıllarında Özbekistan Bilimler Akademisi Tarih Enstitüsünde doktora eğitimini tamamladı. “1709-1876 yıllar arasında Hokand Hanlığının idari yönetim sistemi” konulu doktora tezini 2007 yılında hazırlayarak doktora derecesini aldı. 2006-2015 yıllarında Özbekistan Bilimler Akademisi Tarih Enstitüsünün Orta Çağ Tarihi Bölümünde faaliyet gösterdi.2010-2013 yıllarında “18.- 19. Yüzyıl Ortası Hokand Hanlığının Diplomatik İlişkilerinde Dini Ulemanın Rolü” adı ile Almanya’nın Gerda Henkel Stiftung kuruluşundan proje yürütücüsü oldu. 2012 yılında Ohio Devlet Üniversitesi, İndiana Üniversitesi (ABD) gibi öğretim kurumlarında misafir akademisyen olarak bulundu.2015’te Fergana Politeknik Üniversitesi rektör yardımcısı olarak görevlendirilmiş ve bu görevi 2018’a kadar sürdürdü. 2019’den bugüne dek Özbekistan Bilimler Akademisi Tarih Enstitü Başkan Yardımcısı ve Orta Çağ Tarihi Bölümü başkanı olarak çalışmaktadır. Türkiye, ABD, İngiltere, Almanya, Hindistan, Rusya, İran, Umman gibi ülkelerde akademik çalışmalarda bulunmuş ve aynı ülkelerde düzenlenen bilimsel sempozyum ve kongrelere katılmıştır. Yazma eserler incelemesi, Hokand Hanlığının Tarihi, Hokand-Osmanlı arasındaki diplomatik ilişkileri gibi konular çalışma alanları arasındadır ve çok sayıda makale yayımlamıştır. Türkiye Türkçesi, Farsça, İngilizce ve Rusça bilmektedir.
Atatürk Kültür, Dil ve Tarih Yüksek Kurumu Yönetim Kurulunun 23.01.2023 tarihli ve 850/58 sayılı kararıyla Türk Tarih Kurumu Haberleşme Üyesi olarak seçilmiştir.

Associate Professor Mario Bara, PhD
Mario Bara obtained his degree in a double major program in Sociology and History from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, in 2007. He earned his doctoral degree in the field of Social Sciences, specializing in Sociology, from the same university in 2014. From 2008 to 2015, he was employed at the Institute for Migration and Ethnic Studies in Zagreb. Since 2014, he has been engaged as an external associate, and since 2015, he has been employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology of the Catholic University of Croatia in Zagreb.
He has participated as a researcher in several projects, including the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports (MZOŠ) project “The Impact of Migration on the Regional Development of Croatia” (2008–2013), the Croatian Science Foundation project “Second Homes and the Social Sustainability of Local Communities in Croatia” (2014–2017), and the Croatian Science Foundation project “Modernization of Urban Life in Croatia through the Development of Communal Infrastructure in the 19th and 20th Centuries” (IP-2016-06-2015) (2017–2021). In 2019, he collaborated on the project “Young Return Migrants: Experiences and Motivation” at the Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar, and in the same year, he participated in the Catholic University of Croatia project “Analysis of the Causes, Motives, and Characteristics of the Emigration of Croatian Families to Germany.”
From 2021 to 2022, he contributed to the “Faith and Freedom” project funded by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. He was the principal investigator of the project “Lessons from the Past: Conflicts, Recovery, and Resilience – A Case Study from Croatia” (2023–2024), also supported by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. He is currently a researcher on the project “DinamiRH – Dynamics and Challenges of Migration, Re-Migration, and Immigration in the Republic of Croatia” at the Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar, Zagreb, Croatia.
