Journal of Research and Experience (ADEDER) is a peer-reviewed and scientific journal that publishes research and activity articles on educational sciences, teacher training and field teaching.
The articles in the Journal of Research and Experience (ADEDER) are intended for academicians, teachers and teacher candidates working in the relevant field. Provides instant open access to the content of the journal for their use and sharing, provided that they are referenced.
The content of the journal consists of research and activity articles on basic education, high school and university level teaching in all disciplines in the field of educational sciences and teacher training. It is thought that an archive will be created that will enable graduate students, teachers and academicians to meet different experiences through the Journal of Research and Experience (REJ), which will be published online.
It is expected that the activity studies must be carried out by obtaining the permissions of the pilot application. The applications are primarily requested to be applied on the target group in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. However, if it is found appropriate in the referee evaluations, it will be accepted in the applications made at the university level.
The Research and Experience Journal (REJ) is based on the guide** prepared by COPE* (Committee on Publication Ethics).
The publication process of the Journal of Research and Experience is carried out in accordance with the scientific method, objectively and impartially. In this direction, it is aimed to produce, develop and share scientific knowledge. In order to achieve this goal, all stakeholders (publisher, editors, referees, authors and readers, etc.) must comply with the standards for ethical principles. For the impartiality standard, a double-blind referee evaluation policy is applied.
Research and Experience Journal is a non-profit and public interest journal. It provides free and open access electronically on the journal's web page.
Ethics committee approval rule valid by TR Index is one of the basic ethical principles of the journal. Ethics committee approval will be requested from the 7th volume of the journal. TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria Article 8: “Ethics committee approval must be obtained for studies conducted in all branches of science, including social sciences, and which require an ethics committee decision, this approval must be stated and documented in the article. In studies that require ethics committee permission, information about the permission (name of the committee, date and number) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article. In case reports, information about signing the informed consent/consent form should be included in the article.
Ethics committee approval is not required from the author for review articles. However, in articles that do not require an ethics committee decision, it should be stated on the first/last page of the article and in the method section that an ethics committee decision is not required.
Responsibilities of the Editorial Board
The journal editor decides whether the article submissions made to the journal are appropriate and whether they will be published. The editor's decision is based on the originality of the article and whether it complies with the journal's policy, not on the race, gender, religious ethnicity, and political views of the author. Editors adopt the principles of meeting the information needs of the journal stakeholders, providing feedback when necessary, and acting according to the principles of openness in matters that require correction and/or explanation during the publication process. The editorial board of the journal prepares the information and explanations needed for the authors. Updates them as needed. The editor does not share personal information about the application.
Responsibilities of the Referees
The referees should evaluate the article directed to them impartially and on the basis of confidentiality. Reviewers should refuse to evaluate the article in cases where there is a conflict of interest or a shared interest. If the referees are not able to make an evaluation within the stipulated time, if it is not related to their field of expertise or if they have seen an ethical problem, they should inform the editor. Referees should make the evaluation in a constructive manner in accordance with academic ethics and etiquette. While evaluating, personal comments containing insults and hostility should be avoided.
Authors should adhere to the ethical rules of publication in their work. Authors should clearly demonstrate the originality and objectivity of their work. It is not appropriate to submit the same article to more than one journal at the same time. Authors should determine the similarity rate in their articles and send it to the journal if it does not exceed the 20% limit, excluding the bibliography. If the article was produced from a graduate thesis or a project and presented in a scientific meeting (symposium, congress, etc.), it should be stated on the first page of the article. Ethics committee approval is not required from authors for review articles. However, in articles that do not require an ethics committee decision, it should be stated on the first/last page of the article and in the method section that an ethics committee decision is not required. If authors notice an error in their manuscript under review or in an electronically published article, they must immediately contact the editor to inform, correct or withdraw it. Corrections can be made within the first five days after publication. Authors are obliged to keep the data of their published articles for five years.
Notifying the Editor of the Situation Not Complying with the Ethical Principles
All stakeholders of the journal should report to firstname.lastname@example.org if they encounter an action that does not comply with ethical principles during the evaluation and publication processes of the authors in the journal.
