Plagiarism Screening

The articles sent to ATAD journal to be published are firstly scanned by plagiarism programs. Studies whose plagiarism rate is above 20% and do not comply with the journal's publication principles and scientific publication criteria are returned to the author before the evaluation process begins. If the similarity report is higher than 15%, the article:
1- May be sent to the author for editing by the editor.
2- May be rejected by the editor.
3- May be sent to the editorial board for evaluation.
All articles submitted to ATAD Journal as of 01.12.2019 are submitted to the similarity report via the Turnitin program before being submitted to the referee evaluation.
The upper limit of similarity in ATAD Journal is 20%.
Other sources such as Ithenticate literature review can be used for articles submitted to ATAD Journal, especially in cases where Turnitin's Turkish database is limited. It is not a 20% criterion for editors. They reserve the right to refuse the article and ask for correction if they see a slightest problem.
