BALAGH - Journal of Islamic and Humanities Studies is an open-access, international academic, peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Theology at Karabük University in June and December in Turkish, English, and Arabic.
The journal may close to new submissions upon approval by the editorial board once a sufficient number of articles has been received.
BALAGH primarily aims to publish and disseminate research articles related to Islamic studies, under the main heading of Basic Islamic Sciences, but also encompassing other related disciplines (Philosophy and Religious Studies - Islamic History and Arts - Islamic Economics, etc.). Only researchers holding a doctoral degree are accepted for submission. Researchers who have not yet graduated may submit their work in collaboration with a professor holding this degree.
In our journal, multiple articles by the same author from the same period will not be accepted for consideration. Furthermore, an author will not be allowed to publish or consider another article for at least two issues after their first article has been published. Submitted articles undergo double-blind peer review by at least two referees. Additionally, it is confirmed that the articles have not been previously published and do not contain plagiarism through a special plagiarism detection program.
