The Dokuz Eylül University Journal of Graduate School of Social Sciences is a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal published electronically four times a year.

Since Volume 21 in 2019, the journal has been published in March (Issue 1), June (Issue 2), September (Issue 3), and December (Issue 4).

First published in 1999, the journal aims to publish theoretical and/or applied articles that make original contributions to the field of social sciences within the framework of scientific ethics.

As an open access journal, all content is made available to users free of charge.

The publication language of the journal is Turkish. However, articles in English are also published.

The Dokuz Eylül University Journal of Graduate School of Social Sciences is indexed in TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM TR Dizin, TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Social Sciences and Humanities Database, EBSCOhost Online Research Databases, SOBIAD Citation Index, and Araştırmax Scientific Publication Index.

The journal joined the DergiPark project in 2014, which was launched by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM to bring academic journals together on a common platform, and since then has carried out manuscript submission and evaluation electronically. Articles have been published with DOI numbers since Volume 16, Issue 3.
