Romantik İlişkilerde Öznel İyi Oluşun İlişkiye Dair Akılcı Olmayan İnançlar ve Duygusal Bağımlılık Değişkenlerine Göre İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, romantik ilişkisi olan bireylerin romantik ilişkilerde öznel iyi oluş düzeylerinin, akılcı olmayan inançlar ve duygusal bağımlılık değişkenleri açısından incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, romantik ilişkisi bulunan 18 yaş ve üzerindeki toplam 350 birey oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcıların 187’si erkek, 163’ü kadın bireylerden oluşmaktadır. Veriler, çevrimiçi ortamda (Google Forms) Kişisel Bilgiler Formu, Romantik İlişkilerde Öznel İyi Oluş Ölçeği, Akılcı Olmayan İnançlar Ölçeği ve Duygusal Bağımlılık Ölçeği aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırma, ilişkisel tarama modeline dayalı olarak yürütülmüş; verilerin analizinde Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon Katsayısı ve Basit Doğrusal Regresyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular, romantik ilişkilerde öznel iyi oluş ölçeği puan ortalamaları ile akılcı olmayan inançlar ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmadığını göstermiştir. Buna karşılık, romantik ilişkilerde öznel iyi oluş ölçeği puan ortalamaları ile duygusal bağımlılık ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasında orta düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmıştır. Ayrıca regresyon analizi sonuçları, duygusal bağımlılık ölçeği puan ortalamalarının romantik ilişkilerde öznel iyi oluş ölçeği puan ortalamalarının %20’sini açıkladığını ve anlamlı bir yordayıcı olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.

Examinatıon Of Subjective Well-Being In Romantic Relationship Based On Irrational Beliefs About The Relationships And Emotional Dependency Variables

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the subjective well-being of individuals in romantic relationships in relation to irrational beliefs and emotional dependency. The sample consists of 350 individuals aged 18 and above (187 males, 163 females). Data were collected through online surveys using the Personal Information Form, the Subjective Well-Being in Romantic Relationships Scale, the Irrational Beliefs in Romantic Relationships Scale, and the Emotional Dependency Scale. The study employed a correlational survey model, and data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Pearson’s Correlation Analysis examined relationships between variables, while Simple Regression Analysis assessed predictive power. Findings indicate no significant relationship between subjective well-being and irrational beliefs. However, a moderately significant positive correlation was found between subjective well-being and emotional dependency. Regression analysis results show emotional dependency accounts for 20% of the variance in subjective well-being. These results highlight the crucial role of emotional dependency in subjective well-being within romantic relationships.
