The Journal of New Approaches in Education is an international peer-reviewed journal published online (electronic) twice a year (in June/December) in the discipline of education and educational research. Adopting an open access policy, the content of the journal is offered free of charge to all users. A double-blind review system is applied in the journal. The publication language of the journal is Turkish and English. The Journal of New Approaches in Education, which made its first publication in 2018, aims to publish theoretical and/or applied articles that will comprehensively address current issues in education and contribute to educational science. In addition, the Journal of New Approaches in Education aims to contribute to science at high academic standards, to support the power of free scientific thought with a global perspective, to help the national and international development of the teaching profession and teachers, to follow the developments in education and to create resources in this sense. Preference is given to articles that synthesize knowledge from different backgrounds, situate research findings in a broad context, expand methodological and theoretical understanding, and have the possibility of informing educational policies and practice. Quantitative, qualitative and mixed method research articles and review articles are published in the journal.
The Journal of New Approaches in Education is indexed in national and international databases such as Index Copernicus, DRJI (Directory of Research Journals Indexing), Academic Resource Index, SIS (Scientific Indexing Services), CiteFactor, Asos Index, IPIndexing.
