Şeker Pancarı Küspesinden Pektin İzolasyonu

Abstract

Şeker pancarı küspesinin bileşimi belirlendikten sonra HCl ekstraksiyonu (pH= 1.5; 80 oC; 4 saat) amonyum oksalat ekstraksiyonu (%0.25 AO; pH= 3.5; 75 oC; 1 saat) ve disodyum etilendiamin tetraasetik asit ekstraksiyonu (%0.5 EDTA; 90 oC; 1 saat) yöntemleriyle şeker pancarı küspesinden pektin elde edildi. Pektin içeriği, uygulanan ekstraksiyon yöntemine göre değişmektedir. Üç ekstraksiyon yöntemi arasında en yüksek pektin verimi (%21.75) AO ekstraksiyonu yöntemiyle elde edildi.

Isolation of Pectin from the Sugar-Beet Pulp (Turkish with English Abstract)

Abstract

The composition of the sugar-beet pulp was determined and the pectin was extracted by using HCl (pH= 1.5; 80 oC; 4 h.), ammonium oxalate (%0.25 AO; pH= 3.5; 75 oC; 1 h.) and EDTA procedures (%0.5 EDTA; 90 oC; 1 h.). Although the efficiency among the procedures varied, the best result was obtained by AO extraction in which the pectin content of the final product was 21.75%.
