MALEZYA’NIN HELAL GIDA SERTİFİKASYONUNDAKİ ROLÜ

Abstract

Helal endüstrisi, son yıllarda uluslararası ticarette kendine yer edinmeyi başaran önemli bir sektör haline gelmiştir. Bu sektörün ticari potansiyeli, dünya genelinde ilgi çekmiş ve birçok ülke bu alanda ciddi yatırımlar yapmaya başlamıştır. Malezya bu ülkeler arasında en dikkat çekici olanlardan biridir. Ülke sınırları içerisinde tek tip bir helal sertifikasyon sistemi kurmayı başaran ve kısa bir süre içerisinde helal endüstri alanında bölgesel bir güç haline gelen Malezya, bu alanda sahip olduğu büyük pazar ve oluşan yüksek talep nedeniyle dünyanın dört bir yanından dikkatleri üzerine çekmektedir. Malezya Helal Sertifikası, sıkı ve güvenilir bulunan kriterleri ve ISO, HACCP, GMP ve GHP gibi uluslararası standartlarla uyumlu olması nedeniyle dünya çapında tanınmaktadır. Öyle ki; Tayland Japonya, Kore, Çin, Avustralya ve Brezilya gibi birçok Gayri Müslim ülke, Malezya'yı küresel Helal endüstrisinin öncüsü olarak görmektedir. Malezya'yı küresel bir helal merkezi haline getirme hedefine ulaşmak için Malezya hükümeti birçok yeni faaliyet geliştirmektedir. Bu çalışmada, helal endüstri sahasında dünyanın merkezi olmayı hedefleyen Malezya’nın, bu hedefine ulaşmak için hayata geçirdiği faaliyetler ele alınacak ve mevcut durumu değerlendirilmeye çalışılacaktır.
