Lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktorasını Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi'nde Eğitim Programları ve Öğretim alanında yaptı. 

Eğitim programları ve öğretim üzerine  çalışmaktadır.

Özellikle ilgilendiği alanlar,  eleştirel düşünme, düşünme becerileri-düşünme öğretimi ve öğretimde yeni  yaklaşımlardır. Tüm öğretim yaklaşım ve yöntemleriyle ilgilenmekle birlikte öğretimde yeni yaklaşımlar özellikle farklılaştırılmış öğretim, kapsayıcı eğitim, çokkültürlülük gibi alanlar özel ilgi alanlarıdır.

2013 yılından bu yana kadın çalışmalarıyla ilgilenmektedir.  Düzce Üniversitesi Kadın Çalışmaları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi'nin kurucu müdürüdür. 

Dr Zaheer Hussain is a researcher and senior lecturer in psychology. He teaches on the undergraduate single and combined honours psychology degrees and the MSc in Cyberpsychology. His teaching and research interests cover cyberpsychology, social psychology, statistics, and research methods. He supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. He is a member of the Online Behaviours Lab and an active researcher in the areas of addictive behaviours and technology use. He also works as a consultant and has worked with technology, media, and advertising companies including Facebook, Activation Media, and MTM. Dr. Hussain also acts as an expert advisor on health and technology for the UK Parliament.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine Nur Ünveren Bilgiç is a scholar in the field of mathematics education. She received her BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in mathematics education and has been actively involved in higher education since 2010, particularly in teacher education, graduate supervision, curriculum development, and academic research. She is currently a faculty member at the Faculty of Education, Düzce University, Türkiye. Her research interests focus on mathematics teacher education, technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK), mathematical modelling, digital pedagogy, instructional design, and quality assurance in higher education. She has published extensively in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to edited volumes and international conferences. She has also participated in several national and international projects aligned with European Union priorities, particularly in digital education, sustainability, and capacity building in higher education.

Prof. Dr. Özcan Erkan Akgün completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Chemistry at Niğde University (1998), and his master's degree (2002) and doctorate (2005) in Educational Technology at Ankara University. In 2006, he was appointed to Sakarya University, Faculty of Theology,Faculty of Education, Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies as an Assistant Professor. Akgün, who became an Associate Professor in 2018, became a Professor in 2023. Prof. Akgün currently works for Ibn Haldun University, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational Sciences. Prof. Akgün has many articles published in journals indexed in national and international directories. Prof. Akgün's research areas include instructional design, learning development, e-learning, distance education, technology integration in education, STEM, competencies in higher education, accreditation, effective learning-teaching and learning motivation.
