IJOSES is a peer-reviewed journal that began publication in 2013 and features original research in the fields of social sciences and education. IJOSES / USEBD publishes scientific articles in both Turkish and English twice a year, in June and December. Special issues may be published during the year as deemed necessary. The authors are solely responsible for the views and opinions expressed in the articles. All publication rights for articles submitted for publication and accepted by the editorial board belong to the IJOSES / USEBD Journal. Papers presented at national and international symposia may be submitted for publication provided they are cited. Papers presented at symposia must not have been previously published.

Manuscripts submitted for publication in the International Journal of Social and Educational Sciences (IJOSES) are first reviewed by the editor or section editors to determine whether they comply with the journal’s publication policies. If the manuscript complies with the journal’s publication policies, it is sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation. If one of the reviewers issues a negative opinion, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer. If the third reviewer’s decision is negative, the manuscript is returned to the author. Before manuscripts are sent to reviewers, similarity reports are generated using Turnitin and iThenticate. If the similarity rate exceeds 25%, the manuscript is returned to the author. Similarity reports for manuscripts accepted for publication are also sent to reviewers for informational purposes.

Articles uploaded to the system must not contain any names or other identifying information. This information is added by the editor prior to publication.
