Publication History:

The Kent Academy Journal began monthly publication in January 2008 and continued in this format until 2010. Between 2010 and 2011, the journal published four issues per year of non-peer-reviewed scholarly articles. From 2012, the journal switched to publishing national peer-reviewed articles. In 2017, it was integrated into the DergiPark system as an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal. Until 2019, it was indexed in both TR Dizin Social Sciences and TR Dizin Natural Sciences. From 2020, the journal introduced a strict system in which each article is reviewed by at least three independent reviewers.

Publication Process:

The journal strictly adheres to ethical principles and scientific quality standards and maintains an efficient and streamlined publication process to contribute effectively to the scientific community. Submitted manuscripts undergo an initial pre-evaluation before being sent to the reviewers. The first review cycle is completed within 15 days, while subsequent review rounds are limited to 7 days each. On average, it takes around 100 days for an article to be published.

Similarity Detection Programs and Reference Values:
Articles are checked against predefined parameters, excluding sections such as references, abstracts and materials/methods. The journal's official plagiarism detection program is *iThenticate*, and all similarity reports are evaluated using this software.

The Kent Academy Journal is accessible through national archives, including DergiPark and TR Dizin.

Article Submission Deadlines:
- At least 60 days before the scheduled publication date.
Decision on the publication of an article:
The Editorial Board meets three days before the publication date to finalize the list of articles to be included in each issue.

Final Publication Confirmation Dates:
- March 20, June 20, September 20 and December 20.
