This year, we are leaving behind the 16th year of our publishing adventure that we embarked on with the vision of becoming the city academy. Although we initially set out to publish all intellectual work about city and urban, our Editorial Board has decided to become a peer-reviewed journal as of 2021. In the next period, as every peer-reviewed journal wants to be followed by international indexes in order to open up to the world and gain a respectable place in the world of science, we acted with the same vision and came to the point we are at today. It was a very important step for us at the point of institutionalization every year and we settled our corporate structure to a great extent. As a journal, we did not even feel the need to call for publication. With our READER AND AUTHOR FRIENDLY structure and approach and regular TOTAL QUALITY PRINCIPLES AND STANDARDS of our readers and authors, the publication circulation of our journal has always continued to increase.

Our goal is to reveal tacit knowledge. Being aware of the fact that the information in the brain will have no added value as long as it stays there, we first thought of journalism within the scope of the ideal of achieving a civilized future for our country and advancing the level of civilization in our world.

Although our journal is hosted by DERGİPARK, we also have cultural events, including scientific media, on our portal address https://www.kentakademisi.com/. In this case, we operate the DERGİPARK environment with the dimension of a scientific journal and our portal address with other services related to KENT CULTURE (CITY CULTURE).


We are advancing in our mission to provide you with a better and quality service, and our goal of becoming a journal followed by SCI, SSCI and AHCI indexes in a few years. We will succeed.
