Journal of Clinical Psychology Research (JCPR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the advancement of both theoretical and empirical research in the field of clinical psychology. Published by the Association of Clinical Psychology Research (Klinik Psikoloji Araştırmaları Derneği), JCPR provides a scholarly platform for the dissemination of innovative and impactful research that deepens the scientific understanding of psychological phenomena and informs clinical practice.

The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics within clinical psychology and related subfields, including but not limited to developmental psychology, neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, and psychometrics. It welcomes high-quality submissions that address psychological functioning across the lifespan and across diverse populations, contexts, and cultural backgrounds.

JCPR publishes:

  • Original Research Articles: Reports of original scientific research, including data and findings from the author's own study.
  • Review Articles: Summaries of existing research on a specific topic, usually synthesizing multiple studies to provide an overview of current knowledge.
  • Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: Detailed, structured reviews of literature that follow specific methodologies and may include statistical analysis (meta-analysis) of combined data.
  • Case Studies/Case Reports: Detailed reports on the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of individual patients or clinical cases.
  • Short Communications/Brief Reports: Concise reports of new research findings that may be considered less comprehensive than full-length articles.
  • Letters to the Editor: Short, opinion-based letters that comment on articles recently published in the journal or present brief observations or concerns.
