Nigde Omer Halisdemir University Journal of Social Sciences Institute is an academic journal that publishes original research articles in all fields of social sciences. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. Additionally, special issues may be published, featuring research articles presented at national/international conferences organized in collaboration with our university or focusing on significant events/persons related to our culture or region.

The journal is indexed in international field indexes, excluding those included in “ISI Databases” or SCOPUS, as listed among the associate professorship application criteria by the Interuniversity Council (ÜAK).

Manuscripts submitted for publication must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere for consideration. The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. All articles undergo a peer-review process, and the content cannot be partially or fully quoted without proper citation. The authors bear full responsibility for the content of the published articles. No royalties are paid to the authors, nor are any publication fees charged for accepted articles.

Articles accepted for publication are subjected to plagiarism screening. Only manuscripts with a similarity rate below 25% proceed to the editing stage based on the plagiarism report.
